According to one PUA Manual Men sub conciously place women into one of three "Categories of Attraction". This isn't a generaliszation nor is it an attempt to "pigeon hole" women or oversimplify attraction.

The Three Categories are
1) Women who are too old, too ugly, unhealthy. Any PUA or Male worth his salt is genetically designed to NOT mate with these types to avoid unsuccessful reproduction

2) HB9s 10s, Vogue Models, Swimsuit Models
The top tier of women men are genetically inclined to meet, attract, mate and reproduce with. It is safe to say they turn most mens heads when they walk in the room

3) The third (and interesting) category is "Unexplained Attraction"
It is when a man is physically drawn to a female, even though she is not "conventionally good looking". This is not the same as being "fugly", average looking or a combination of fit and ugly.
To give you a clue to what I mean think about these two celebrities when they WERE in their primes.
Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears.
Now according to Evoluionary Biology, Christina is our dream woman as
Face-- Almost perfectly Symetrical (image a mirror half way across the face- if it is a perfect copy either side her face is symetrical) , full lips, come to bed blue eyes.
Hair-- Silky Blonde- no explaination needed
Body- Flat Stomach, Big Boobs, Tight Butt,Excellent and Dynamic Hip to Waist Ratio

Now Britney in Evolutionary Biology term is not only far from perfect in terms of celebrities she is also- not that fit if she turned up to your local clubs (Social Proof aside I think most local girls where I club would blow her out of the water-looks wise anyways).
Face- Aysymetricial (her face is not a mirror image, it would show two different faces either side)
Hair- (before she shaved it!) Brown, Greasy, unstraight, Dyed Blonde
Body- (again this was in her prime BEFORE her sausage in lingerie look)
Short, Waist to Hip Ratio Humungous, flat chested (before her so obvious they are, breast implants) etc etc

And yet, if you said to any guy between 1999-2000 what girl would you hump most, they'd say Britney.
Now it is was either Britneys inperfections that made her that slightly more attainable than Christina that increased her attraction appeal, or maybe it was the fact Britney had a look and style better than Christina.
