so this girl i had kinda given up on gaming i sit next to in class threw a curveball to me today. I had pretty much thought i entered LGBF with this girl when after inviting her on a date she cancelled an hour before because she was hungover. today when i saw her in class i didn't sit next to her but down the row. then after class she caught up with me and we walked to our next class together, as we were walking i mentioned plans to go to a new mexican restaurant, she " said o i love mexican, i miss the mexican restaurants in cali" so invited her and she said she'd love to come. after class she said "you better call me" so sure enough i called her and she is definately coming but she was going to call her friend ( i had made it clear to her that my friend was coming earlier) then about ten minutes later she texted me this

her: " forgot that i had a five thirty recitationnnnnn"
me: "when is it over"
her: "six thirty, promise you'll take me to get mexi food sometime soon?"
me" "hmm idk your not going to bail on me again are you" (she had bailed on me one time before this"
Her: " I promiseeee, the recitations just started this week so i didn't know"
me: "no worries"

so when she wanted me to promise id take her for mexi i thought too things, im not in LJBF or this chick really likes mexican cuisine

i wanted your guy's take.

did i do everything right in this situation, if not how should i of acted?

I'd say she's probably just trying to get a meal out of you if she's already backed out twice. Just move on to the next one. Also, I really don't get why girls do that thing of adding the last letter of a word like 10 times

You are still good, make sure next time when you make plans with her you add something like:

"what is the chance of you not showing up to (w/e it is)."
"the reason im asking this because when i say im gona be or go somewhere I always keep my word, I am dependable and stick to my word, and I really value this in other people too, and one thing that can end our "frendship" before it begins is flakiness."

This sets the mood on flakiness good, she knows you not some sucker and will not tolerate people who dont respect you and your time

(make sure to use frendship even thou you may not want to, it shows her you not really attracted to her and want her as a friend, she is gona start thinking y he isnt into me? what is wrong with me? etc, she will start thinking about you thus becoming more attracted. But also add some sexual tension etc.. this will give her mix signals).
