TUF (Token Ugly Friend)

Characteristics

There are two types of TUFs that I have noticed
1. Constructive- These are the girls that most of us would have known before we discovered PUA.
-I have nothing but love for this kind of girl. They're always pleasant, complimentary and they allow you to DHV because if you win their approval your target will soon follow suit.

2. Destructive- These are girls that have always been overlooked because they're not great looking, this has made them bitter.
- These girls will take every neg to heart (because they've been insulted many times before), AMOGing will not work (they've probably been bullied by AMOGs) and if you try to ignore they're snide comments you can wave goodbye to your target.

Both of these are almost always found in two-sets with a HB8+

How to deal with them

note:This doesn't apply to Constructive TUFs, very little gaming needed there, but you can't always tell whether they will be Con- or De-TUF at first and when it comes to De-TUFs first impressions are key. So it's best to try this out just in case.

1. Say you're openner and wait for response. Deal with the TUFs answer first giving her priority (this will be new to the De-TUFs and they will appreciate it). If only your target responds turn to the TUF and wait for her answer, verbally prompt her if needs be.

2. Agree with the TUF if the answers are different
. If the answers are the same and the TUF answered first accuse your target of copying her answer
. If the answers are the same and your target spoke first move on to step 3

3. Do the best friends test (chances are these girls have been friends for years but the answer doesn't really matter)

4. By now you should have reached hook-point. Use a wing to isolate the target ( a wing is DEFINITELY necessary otherwise you will not be able to isolate)

5. Close.

Examples of TUF comments/interactions

TARGET: What age are you?
ME: 18
TUF: My baby sister's that age, I would set you to up... But she normally goes for more masculine guys

ME: So what are you studying?
TUF: Genetics and Forensic Science.
ME: (pause) NERD!!
TUF: Hey! I'm not the skinny one with glasses!

Both times I tried to freeze her out with no success. The methods above are tried and tested.

BTW, I'm a "Skinny guy with glasses PUA" ¿? Is that possible?. Well, I'm trying it out. With varying degrees of success.
