A friend of mine is what I consider to be a natural, he seems to be able to get any girl he likes, and attracts girls without even trying, which I've always put down to inner game.
Anyway, I always had in the back of my mind this target of being as successful as him, and if I get to that level I will be very pleased.
Getting to the point, I mentioned to him tonight that I've been getting into game (a few of the guys at my work have read the book and didn't buy into it) and a lot of the stuff he does is textbook game, even though he doesn't consciously do it. He said he read The Game about 3 years ago when it first came out. He then told me he got really into it at the time and even went to a seminar or workshop (I'm not sure which) with Style and Mystery themselves.
I can't believe this, he's been a promoter for various clubs and I always presumed his game came from the girls coming onto him all the time because of that, I never imagined he'd learned from the best.
As you might be able to tell, I'm excited about this. It puts things into perspective for me, that even the people I thought were phenomenal with women have had help somewhere along the line.
It cements in my mind that I can get there, and makes me want to get out and practice more to get to that level.
I wonder how many people use game (actual pua game) that prefer to keep it completely to themselves....

If a dude seems like a natural but is actually a PUA he has of course internalized all those lessons into his daily life. There probably alot of guys who would try to "hide" this info for personal gain but if you really want to learn this stuff you'll probably will find this info no problem like the hundreds of others who are members of this site

I don't believe the arguments about a difference between naturals and PUA's. I see PUA as a way of putting a name to things that people do naturally. I'll use art as a simile; some people are adept at using perspective, colour selection theory and the rules of composition without knowing the technical names for it. Once told about it they recognize how they use it and can use the rules to build on what they do. Simultaneously a raw amateur (like me with PUA) can study the techniques and build from that rather than use it to enhance natural talent.
Essentially it's a breakdown of skills into manageable components (brush care, tonal rendering underpainting for instance) that can be put together into the game.
All the best to you and your friend, happy sarging.
