Hey guys, i just got a job at a gas station...and this chick drove up that i recognized that works in the library(haven't spoken to her then). Basically "hey i know u from the library"...blah blah...didn't really get to talk b/c as always 4 cars decide to show up at once. So right when i go to help someone else i say "let me get your number" (hands her phone and walk away to other car). I said "let" b/c she didn't seem like a cocky chick and didn't wanna give orders.

Anyway....6 days or so go by and i just call her up ...she answers(always a good thing) ...brief fluff talk about the library...people not liking to read but loving a good book...blah blah...ppl come in to get music and then burn it...she said something like "yeah i love to read"(convo so far was like 2 min...i've always heard keep it BRIEF on the phone and get the meetup ready). So i start to ask "so what kind of books...wait nvm...what i called you about was what r u doing tonight?"

her : sorry i'm going out with some girlfriends tonight
me: haha girls night...that should be cool.
Me: lets see...i'm free this coming friday
her: i gotta see...i think i have work on friday but call me later in the week
me: haha, friday IS later in the week
me: i'm only free tonight and friday...i'll call you then to see what you're up to and if not i'll catch you later ok? Have fun tonight....bye.
her: bye.

Honestly....i dont think i built up enough attraction when i got her number(we BARELY talked...only few min worth while i was running abck and forth between cars). And honestly i think i'm definitely in a different league then she is(hb6-7 possibly even tho i dont really rate). I just figured it would have been an easy close.....now this shit. Thanks for reading!

Btw she works at the library....im sure it closes no later than 8-9pm...plenty of time to CHILL.

You didn't build up enough attraction to yet build up that much comfort... You are possibly well on your way to LJBF.

But I see that the circumstances were bad to build up attraction from your point of view, but girls will blame you for that... Sucks doesn't it ?!

ty for your response. I doubt ill be in the friend zone b/c if we ever DO hang out...i'll have too much kino for that to be possible...but if she has another lame excuse on friday than i'm done. My question is mainly referring to how i handled the phone call....was it too strict/short/basically any advice about it?

Btw i found out the library closes at 5pm on fridays so she was full of shit about "possibly having to work"....either way i know girls are indecisive and i can't blame her for not giving me a "YES" in advance.....but i don't get why she would possibly bullshit with me. Don't mean to brag but she was checking me out when i saw her one point in time at the library, i was just there to read though.

My idea is...i call her on friday....if she flakes again i'm done with her and never calling her again. Btw i just have a hunch she's going to(idk y) but how should i handle it come friday when she again says "can't". Simply say "well i attempted to get to you know you but i can't deal with people who flake, bye" ....or simply "that's fine...i gotta go..cya"

Well it doesn't really matter how brief you keep your phonecalls with her... Hell, I've had half an hour phonecalls and they work out great.

Everything works out great as long as it stays interesting, I chatted with one girl on the phone for half an hour about how we were hitting on each other, but in the end I just said something like "nah, you wouldn't have any chances to get me... " which just caused her to think about me for the rest of her night.

Well fluff talk, even on the phone, without attraction is more like digging your own grave in the LJBF-zone -which you will fall in later on as you get closer to her.. Add some humor m8 humor is the best ingredient avaible for picking up women! Having her laugh on the phone is always a good sign.

And I'd say you called a bit too late, 6 days is a LOT of time.. Have it 15min-2days next time, and you will have far more better results to get out with the girl.

P.s. Don't confront her about her flake the next time your on the phone with her, otherwise she will just avoid speaking with you on the phone.

Just act as if things aren't a big deal.. If she flakes on you, were you the man who got upset and waited..., OR were you the man who called up another girl and had a great time?!
