Quick question, am I right in thinking that if there is a HB that you see fairly often, but you might want to game her later, then the best way is to stay distant, i.e. not too friendly?

Do whatever the hell you want and stop over analysing things. It's better to be friendly with girls, I mean use your common sense here. If you try intentionally to keep your distance then all of a sudden you start pulling the moves on her later on she'll think it's weird and put her guard up, making your job harder.

I'll say it again... do what you want.

To be honest I would slowly take things up a notch each day or every other day (i.e day 1 being friendly pleasent...day 3 friendly/plesent + kino...day 5 friendly/plesent + kino + DHVing ect ect) end of the week she should be all over you (in theory)
