Look into some hair SPAM. Wear a hat that will work for you and that you can pull off anywhere. Shorten your hair a lot and if that still looks bad, buzz it off (don't bic it, really makes you look like a skinhead) then get a tan going cause that will help the skinhead image, as well as dressing to fit the style. Little bit of facial hair can help with the shaved head look better as well.

I have a friend whose hairline is receding really badly, and he's only about 18 or 19. He doesn't give a shit about it and neither do girls. As I always say, it's only a big deal if you make it one. As Rye said, your only quick option to make it stand out less is to wear a hat or keep it shaved really short. I know guys who wear hats all the time and it's just part of their character, so it's not a bad option... as for shaving your head, just get a number 1 all over. So what if you look like a skinhead? I get looks from people from time to time but seriously, who gives a shit? I like how it looks and I'm not gonna grow it out just to please sheltered, insecure, or just plain judgemental people. I actually find it quite funny.

I'm currently dealing with hair loss.

Don't take any pills or liquid hair SPAM. Go straight into laser theropy, get a hair max laser comb or look into leimo.

Hair loss is generally caused by a irregular hormone in your blood called DHT. Basically it causes your hair to stress and fall out. Then that hair is gone forever. No medical SPAM aside from hair implantation will do anything.

Hair implantation is literally a operation, and its painful, may scar your scalp, but it works. Once you have it done your hair may still fall out because you have that hormone in high quantities.

There are drugs such as propecia which claim to help, but they don't work for everyone and there is many side effects, although alot are not official. Just Google the drug you'll see what people say.

It sucks man I know ;)! But women don't overly care about hair, you may be starting to look more crap without it but, women care more about themselves and looking good. You need to be manly that’s all they want as far as looks. That’s the truth, so don't worry about that asset, its more something for you. And i do think you should take measurements to fix it, because old bald men look crap. But you wont be old for another 40 years! so that’s 40 years of poon you have to look forward to, with or without hair.

With Propecia, you have to take it every day, and its expensive. The packet set me back a decent amount per week. Its annoying to take it everyday and you get over it so fast.

<img src=http://www.hairlossbuyersguide.com/imag ... pecia1.jpg>

The theory of fixing hair and they still don't really know how to fix this, its incredible, they can cure some cancers but they can't cure hair loss, is that when your hair really thins, that because of the DHT regulation in your blood it magically grows back. Often that’s not the case, you need laser therapy too.

Now laser therapy isn’t exactly something you should accept lightly. Your dealing with your head and its a laser. Although it is approved by the American FDA or the Korean, depending on products, its probably to be used with caution and not all the time, basic stuff like avoid eye exposure so on.

Check these links

Deal with it right away, don't wait. Also look at your diet, and your shampoo, make sure they have vitamins b12 and zinc, look at the back.

best of luck!

I've also had a receding hairline since I was 18.

I agree that you shouldnt let it cramp your style but at the same time, you should be proactive about it (if not it will take less than 40 years for you to grow bald).

I'm actually a scientist who reviews science journals anyway so I will give you guys a very brief report:

The only two FDA approved SPAM for hair loss (alopecia) are Propecia and Rogaine.

Propecia works really well for most men with few side effects.

Rogaine is not supposed to work for a receding hairline, but it is used "off the label" for this.

If anyone has any more questions about this please let me know!

the problem with most of these 'medications agains hairloss' is that the long term effect is unknown.

I agree to go with a close cut if you have a receding hair line, but the other poster was right in that it really doesn't matter unless YOU let it matter. Also, if your head is shaped well, try going Kojak/ Mr. Clean for a while. It will give you a great perspective. There are certain females who will hit on you just because your bald. It's like their fetish. You'll get chicks rubbing your head all the time. Yeah, and have a tan if you can. It will always grow back!

NO. No they don't care. If you knew anything about "game", you'd realize your looks do not matter. It's your game (inner and outer)

Looks are only one piece of the puzzle and like everything, you can make up for it in other ways. Just please don't try to cover it up. Wearing hats can backfire because if you wear it at the wrong times, like a dinner or eating, people will think you are 1) rude and 2) HIDING something. Hiding makes people think you have an insecurity which is worse then having a fault. Work with it, by all means keep it short and don't let it bother you. If it doesn't bother you it wont bother 95% of the girls either. It's like any other flaw, its not big deal. No comb-overs either! See it this way, if you had a full head of hair, it wouldn't get you any more girls. Nobody dates hair, they date people!
