OK boys.. I had an interesting one last night. I was at my local bar with my ex-gf (HB8.5 and an awesome pivot) and this HB10 was introduced to us by the bar owner. I had never been faced with a 10 before so I thought lets get some practice.

I negged her hard and it was working brilliantly. I froze her out several times and every time she wanted to re-engage. The group was all smiles. Anyway later on I went to the bathroom, when I came back my ex and HB10 were talking about something. As soon as I sit down the HB10 says to me "I don't have to prove myself to anyone, do I?" ... naturally, game kicks in and I say "You, especially, have to prove yourself to me!"

All of a sudden it got really frosty and my ex was giving me the most disparaging of looks. HB10 is pissed off and I mean really pissed off. Conversation stops completely and she won't even look me in the eye. I go on laughing and having a good time with my ex. We leave 10-15minutes later.

Apparently HB10 was saying she is now at a point in her life where she doesn't need to prove herself to anyone and she's finally feeling good after x,y and z.

There is no doubt I will run into the HB10 again ... Any advice on what to do to keep my game running or have I blown myself out?

You totally destroyed her man. I guess that this was the time to be nice. Or at least not so offensive.

Also, try to never verbalize rules of pickup (like proving herself to you, you are the prize, negging, etc.). It may ruin everything; if shes a HB10, than she
was hit on by PUA's before (many people don't get this, but PUA comunity is HUGE, and certainly not "undercover" anymore) and suddenly she will remember this guy who tried the same tehnique before, and the other one, and this one too, so you will be in the "rude PUA's" box.

Stop doing what you have been conditioned to do and be a real alpha male instead of a social robot; be you and learn to read in to her as a person instead of defaulting to typical lines. Many HB10s are far more insecure than most PUAs would be led to believe by "the great Mystery".
