I wrote a field report on this but here's the short end, i wanna get advice before i leave on vacation for spring break. If you can read that great, but the short version is...met girl i've previously at a bar, she buys me drinks..good conversation, when i finally conclude to hook up with her i tell her i want to kiss her...i think she said no or something...said it again and she smiled and led me to the corner behind her. The bar had to close so i left fast and didn't even think of getting her number.

she gets my number from her friend, and texts me 30-40 min after the bar.

hb - "hey its steph what's up? stepho =)"
me - "hey babe, the nite is still young but i'll t2ul sweets"

she didn't reply b/c i said t2ul i guess, didn't care really

Question: I'm leaving to amsterdam on friday(this she may or may not know..i think i DHVed with it tho). This whole event happened last night(wednesday)...so should i call/txt her before i leave saying that i'll get in touch once i get back....or simply not get in contact with her until spring break is over. I honestly preferred the not contacting one b/c it may keep me on her mind(why hasn't he got in touch with me yet) or she will simply lose interest ..of which case i'd want to make sure of a day2 ..but then again that may be AFC.

Call her before you leave. FTC after you say, remind you had fun hanging with her then DHV about going on your tripp. Tell her you gotta go but you'll talk to her by the time you come back.

If you dont say anything til your back she will think you just wanted some quick action and dont care, which im assuming isnt the case because you asked what to do.

Thats what i think...and your just lucky im awake at this time being that im sick. Good luck enjoy the country of drugs and real freedom, not that i condone that stuff.

I agree with Ka. I know we all have artificially inflated egos and everything, but girls don't sit around and think about us as much as we'd like to believe unless we give them a reason to. Give her a call, keep it pretty short and don't talk about anything too heavy... just banter with her a bit and maybe try to slip in some callback humor from the other night if you can think of any... basically make it a really fun conversation so she'll hang up wanting more.

thanks for the advice guys, unfortunately i deleted all my text messages 2 days ago and forgot to save her number in my phone ....i texted her friend today "hey, can i get steph's number? Thanks" and didn't get a reply so that means i won't be able to contact her for another 7-8 days. She seemed genuinely interested in me so i don't think she'll lose any attraction, but the idea of leaving her with some little humor and fun fluff i think would have been a good idea...
