So where I live, 99.9% of the guys dress with some jeans and either a polo shirt or a button down shirt. We all know the theory about peacocking - dress like a rockstar, they'll treat you like one.
But I have been thinking.. Usually I like to dress in an extremely comfortable way, which is kind of unstylish, and my theory is, it is so irregular that it actually makes me look confident - because I could care less about what anyone thinks of my clothing. For example, I like to wear a plain white t shirt, with
these sort of pants - either strong purple or light green, combined with a pair with simple sandals, possibly socks too, and a grey
old mans hat to make my blue eyes more prominent, that I wear with the front facing backwards. I am never shaved (always like a 3-5 days growth) and have a messy hair. Yet I am always showerd and clean.
So my theory is, that is peacocking done the opposite way. The difference between this and peacocking is, that this is how I actually like to dress, unlike extreme peacocking which is essentially cosplay. And I do get occasional numbers like that, though haven't tried that out in a bar just yet
