Theirs this really hot girl who lives in my dormitory in college and whenever i see her we always kind of look at each other in a flirtatious way. Ive been dying to try and talk to her but could never come up with an excuse and i haven't seen her in a while. Today i was walking my dog around campus and her and her friends were sitting at a table outside and they called me over to pet my puppy. I finally had an excuse to talk to her and i completely fucked it up because i was to shy to say anything so it was pretty much "hi, bye". What can I do now????? please help thanks

First off, you are going to forget this ever happened. Erased. Woosh. Or no. Let me remark first: You should have engaged the entire group in a conversation, not just your target. Even if you had felt the conversation is not progressing and it is time for you to leave, you would have left a good impression and would have a good entry point to talk to her again. ANYWAY. Woosh. Gone. Never happened.

Next time you see her, engage the group. Or if it's just her, strike up a casual conversation. It's not THAT hard! Don't even aim to "open" her at first, but to have a nice chat with her. Work from there on.
