It seems to be a common trait of an bona fide alpha male to never say the dreaded words "I'm sorry".

Of course you would never utter those words to a hot chick at a club after you negged her, nor would you say them to a guy who you just robbed a set from. In fact, there seems to be few real instances where an apology is really merited.

But what about those rare instances when it goes beyond politeness and kowtowing...what if you really fuck up. Lets say you completely space out a meeting that you were supposed to go to, or you you happen to accidentally say something that really hurts your girlfriends feelings. Are there ever situations where you ought to really, truly, regret your actions?

I'd like to know you alpha males thoughts on apologies and also when you personally apologize (I make the distinction here between what an alpha ought to do and what one does).

if you say/do something stupid/insulting (happens sometimes), and you know its wrong, you can say: ok i understand/agree with you, it was stupid/wrong. a real man can admit his mistakes. then just pretend its not important anyway by dismissing it by starting another subject
(so the word sorry is not neccessary.)
