I on and off again get into pickup. It started with The Game in high school, saw that it worked, developed a oneitis crush, got lost and have been trying to find my way back ever since.

There is is just so much information out there and tons of puas where I live. I also don't have a lot of money and don't want to spend a ton of money.

MM seems highly overpriced these days.
Stylelife is only in the States
RSD seems cool but every one seems to be in it

I've gone out with aspiring puas as well but either they were just getting into it or had no clue what they were doing.

I have a shitload of ebooks and torrents but can't bring myself to sift through them It's like I've seen what can be done and now I just want a magic pill to do all the work and make it happen.

I'm considering a bootcamp, maybe Ars Amorata. It's reasonably priced and Zan seems sympathetic enough. Any advice besides just going out. Cause I've done that too but I feel like I need to some structure.

I'll tell you what I did for prep. I learned body language, trained myself for about a month in reading and communicating with it (mostly alpha postures and sexual vibes). Now I am still studying the overall basic mating ritual, e.g. opener, escalation, #close. Shit-tests and responses, not apologizing for my opinions and thoughts on matters. Training to be a gentleman like James Bond mixed with the attitude of a salesman

Altereagle, how is your 'game' currently? Do you have clear weaknesses and strengths? Is there a part of approaching/conversation/closing that you find most difficult? Also, how would you describe yourself? Introverted/extraverted?

There are so many methods & techniques out there now-a-days. This is good because you can find what YOU need, but the bad part is you have to sift through a lot of stuff.

I'm a creative/intelligent introvert who doesn't have too much AA and has a lot of experience with public speaking. I found RSD was great for overall mindset (watched Blue Print Decoded), but lacked actual steps. I am now going through other methods to pull certain things out:

the Vault Collection (the Venusian Arts) - Just for random segments where I need help
Sex God Method by Daniel Rose's - Since I'm closing more, and have FWBs for practice I thought I'd work more on this area
Juggler Method - to improve my general convo skills

And finally, I am looking into palm reading as a skill to pull out on NYE and work into my kiss close.

Previously read (and finished) the following books over the last 12-16 months:

The structure of magic (an NLP book)
the Natural (by Gambler)
60 years of challenge (ebook set)

About the on and off, make a commitment to at least sarge 2 times a week. And when you sarge, really approach sets. And I mean it. APPROACH WITHOUT THINKING WHAT TO SAY/DO.

About books, the only book about body language I recommend is from Joe Navarro "What Every BODY is Saying: An Ex-FBI Agent's Guide to Speed-Reading People". The rest is shit.

Books about PUA: I recommend Magic Bullets from Love Systems for your general knowledge and Badboy Lifestyle to apply in real life.

Read some books about self-confidence and you're good to go.

For dance floor game I recommend Secrets of Dance Floor Seduction: The Skills Method

My game is weak currently. Most difficult part of interaction is closing. I get numbers and build rapport with hot girls but it never goes anywhere and texting is like death.

Also, I am extroverted.

I liked the stuff I saw on Blueprint but yeah I agree, I want something that systematically lets me see the process as in MM, at least initially so I understand what works and why it works. I reread The Game recently but it's routines are out dated.

You're going to waste alot of time and money if you are expecting to receive a magic pill from someone. I coach.. And I actually will turn people away who give me this type of attitude.

I'll be honest with you man... There are ALOT of people who can help you out by giving you good guidance and motivation... but NOBODY is going to do it for you. You've gotta do it yourself.

I'm aware of that, which is why I feel like such shit but also why I want to baby-step it doing something where I will see some results.

They aren't outdated. I've done some of his routines just for fun. And it still works. It's funny to use the cologne opener and the best friend test is golden (the look on their faces is priceless), but I don't use them anymore because I've switched to direct game and dance floor game.

But sometimes I still use some of his routines when I picked up a girl with direct game and then we grab a drink later. Don't be scared to be caught using routines. You can actually say it, "I read a book about how to pick up chicks. Here let me test it on you."

Getting a pair of balls and approaching girls will become a piece of cake once you get used to it. You don't need seminars and camps, whatever you call them. Books can help in a general way, but it all funnels down to trying it by yourself in the field, because that's where the real experience is gained.

I get what you're saying but the thing is I live in Toronto. Pick-up is so prevalent that the city's largest mall has issued warning against puas lol

I want to learn "natural" game.

Most people HIGHLY over complicate "game." There are really only three major areas you need to focus on:

1) Max out your looks
2) Flirt with women and turn them on
3) Masculine behaviors

Thats it. "Game" is simple, don't make it complicated.
