Sup brahs. Long time lurker here. This community inspired me to create a free app to help PUAs optimize their dating lives. I'm posting to see what the feedback is like and if you guys have any suggestions



As a guy who talks to a lot of girls on a daily basis, I always wanted to use my time more efficiently. While the process of getting to know a girl is part of the enjoyment, there are only so many hours in a day.


We can filter out girls with hairy feet and caveman features, but it's hard to know much more... about a girls personality, her history and worst characteristics ...before you spend a significant amount of time with her. Personally, I want to spend all my time meeting quality girls so I have more of it to spend pursuing my other goals.


So I had an idea: what if we could crowd source male knowledge on women. Although much at a distance, you can learn from the experiences of other men. And those men would probably be willing to share their experiences if it was all anonymous. I haven't had many ideas in my life, so I thought I better act on this one quick.


And so it was born: Chicklopedia: a guys-only App that crowd-sources knowledge about women. Men can rate, review and view information about women anonymously. Women can be rated across a number of categories, from personality to their commitment levels to even their performance in bed. Reviews can be left as hashtags such as #hairyfeet or #annoyingvoice... or anything else else you'd describe a girl as


I'm a student so I recruited couple of PUA/coder friends and we got to work coding the App. Now it's almost ready and has far surpassed our expectations. We had a load of other great ideas along the way. This will be an amazing app for us to save time and optimize our dating lives.

This kinda gives me the creeps, i mean would you like girls to rate you that way, so whenever you meet a new girl she goes to the net and reads your entire history, with whom you have been, when you screwed up etc. All embarrassing thing you are trying to forget. People can change, we all had to change when we entered this community, accept new ideas, maybe even go against the grain of our being. Only permanent thing is change, so i see no advantage of keeping a file on every girl, just because she may not have shaved her legs or was shy 2 years ago does not mean she did not change.

As creepy as it sounds, I'm really curious about what will happen if this app gets popular

This is just way too invasive on women, and (as much as I'd hate to say it) rather objectifying toward them. It's like treating them like a Amazon or Yelp product being reviewed.
But aside from that, the whole idea of it is flawed simply because a lot of the things listed that guys would rate and review women on are subjective. Just because one guy thinks a woman is boring or ugly or too fat or whatever doesn't mean other guys will agree. A lot of what dating is about is testing compatibility with each other. Whether or not the woman was compatible with previous guys is irrelevant information. Frankly if I'm interested in a girl I met, I don't value the opinions on her from men I don't even know. These guys could be total douchebags. And frankly if they are rating and reviewing women on an app, they likely are douches.

Nope this won't work because:

1. How do you stop girls joining and talking shit about girls they hate (posing as a guy)

2. You are simply creating a diversion away from approaching. If guys are all sitting on this app instead of cold approaching, they are not improving.

3. You are giving yet ANOTHER excuse for noobs not to approach. "Oh I saw her on chiklopedia, apparently she wakes up in a bad mood on Sundays, so I'm gonna "screen her out"." ( = I'm too scared to open) . You should be just like, bang bang bang, approach approach approach, not sifting through an unreliable app full of bitter, jilted chodes reviewing their ex girlfriends.

4. How would feel if details about you were on Manlopedia? E.g. How long you can last, the size and shape of your wiener, how weak you are mentally, all your bad traits, levels of jealousy / neediness etc. Not cool.

5. This app is the complete opposite of what pickup is about: Being discreet and leaving women better than you found them. Since when was it about "kiss and tell"?

6. It's not original or unique. It's the same as that app chicks use to rate men.

7. You are exposing the sluts. Slut-shaming is the worst thing you could possibly do to the pickup community. Imagine if your girlfriend gets 100 reviews. You're gonna be like "holy shit my GF is a whore". Whereas if you never found out, you'd probably have a normal relationship with her.

I sincerely hope you fail and focus on growing a pair of balls instead

Haha, you guys DO know that they're is already an app where chicks do this to guys right? Can't remember the name of it but a girl showed me. It's already pretty popular

In the past 5 years of game, dating and various relationships, the worst thing that happened was a girl i opened threw a drink in my face for being obnoxious and drunk. Which was just funny, not scary.

Girls don't slap guys with balls. They slap little submissive bitches who would rather whine and complain instead of improve. You will never be successful with women as long as you believe this app is useful.

Personally, I won't use the app but I'll support the OP (even if he just an advertiser). He took something that's already popular with girls and developed an app for guys. Must have taken a lot of work and I support anyone who is creating something.

If the app stops guys from approaching, same thing can be said about online dating. Therefore anyone who suggests or teaches online dating game is going against cold approach. The app is a supplement, and if anyone decides not to approach due to an app or Pof or Okc, it's on them, not the app. If you go on the app with the common sense knowledge that a review can be fake, that most are going to be negative douches and you make a decision from that info, then sorry that's on you.

I don't understand the argument that the app is against pickup. If a guy can discuss a situation with a girl on a forum and get help, I don't see the difference between that and reading her reviews. Also, how is it different from learning female psychology. How is one method of understanding a woman (forums or books), different from another method (reading her reviews)? Most women wouldn't like knowing their bf or the guy they're dating is taking advice about her on a pu forum, same way they wouldnt like knowing he read their reviews.

Slut shaming: I'm of the opinion that you have the choice to decide what you want to know and who you want to be with. If a guy doesn't want to be with a woman who was a "slut" despite how she is now, he has that right. Some people can buy a car and once it's running well, they don't care if it's been in an accident and they will buy it. Some people don't want a car that's been in an accident regardless of how it runs now. It's their right to decide what's important to them and how they react to it. Right, wrong or stupid, you should be able to do and value what you want.

If I ever do use the app, just like a book or movie, I will keep an open mind and not let it dictate my decisions. I'd read the information and wouldn't take it for 100% true or unbiased. If you break up with a girl over her fb status in 07, it's not facebook's fault. And I respect the originator's entrepreneurship and actual creation of something. Like anything, it can hurt people (guys who don't approach because of it), but that's not the app's fault. Alcohol is not the problem, the people who misuse it are. Can't fault a guy for opening a bar and then when people drive drunk say it's the bars fault.

Hope it's profitable.

i would never use the app, but just having it there for people to use is useful.....and to be honest im on that app, idk what my rating is but my female friend told me i was on it, so ofcourse im looking for equality...and that attitude you have about it is why more and more men are afraid to do anything about certain situations

like i said i would never use the app because 1, i like a surprise, and 2 i think its wrong.....but i want to see it suceed because 1. a fellow pua is making it, and 2, it gives these women a taste of their own medicine
