Hello,
so I was in Colone (Germany) last week and a friend of mine and me wanted to go to a club, notice we both are 16. In Germany it isn't unusual to go clubbing with 16, because you are allowed to go to clubs and drink alcohol from 16. So actually no problem. BUT we didn't get get into one club, because the bounceres wouldn't let us in, giving us no Reason why. So I am you now If you know any techniques tO ''Sarge'' Bouncers ?

Well umm I am very exited about your answers, and I'd like to excuse my bad English due to my Nationality

Personally I normally drop the bouncer at the door like 100 USD/Pounds this gets me right it and if I am a frequent at the club it gets me bottle service, also the benefit of this is it shoots up your social value and you can use it to DHV

BUT YOU HAVE TO DO IT CORRECTLY
just don't walk up and hand him cash and expect anything, this is what I do

Me: Excuse me sir, real quick I know you have to deal with a lot of assholes and drunk people I appreciate that (then offer to shake his hand beware though not all bouncers shake hands, I normally have the bills folded properly in my hand) thank you

Then just go by his reaction now granted depending on the club grant the bouncer a good tip, this works for me a lot when I am traveling

I'm not sure paying the bouncer is a good idea over here. I'm English but go to Germany a lot (and have had a few incidents with bouncers, especially in Berlin where one of my female friends once got punched by a bouncer!). The tipping culture just isn't the same as in the USA and I think bouncers would just laugh at you or even kick you out for trying "to be funny" if you tried that.

I think it's mostly just a matter of being alright with them. Treat them like normal human beings. They will probably get a load of shit all night from drunk people. Try to not be drunk, and then just say hi to them, ask them how their night is etc. I've had it before where a bouncer refused to let us in because one of our group was wearing clothes not allowed. So we just chatted to another one of the bouncers, who then told the doorbouncer that we were cool guys and he then let us in after a 10 minute chat with this other bouncer.

Sometimes bouncers just won't let you in though. You're better to just accept it and walk off - if you kick off, he'll remember you next time as well.

^^ what he said. tipping like that is real hollywood and "yank".. . ive worked a few doors and been around europe. just doesnt happen here. they'd tell you to f off to be honest haha

sounds like you just look too young to be in there, or you act real nervous walking up, or its an older age group club. look for clubs which are known to have a "younger" clientele

Tipping bouncers? That's a fail to be honest.

I usually go to certain bars/clubs in my area and I've made FRIENDS with all the bouncers. Every single time I see them, they are the ones who say Hi and offer me to get in. Befriending everybody is the secret. Don't just go in saying nothing. Once you enter, talk for about 5 minutes with the bouncer, and he'll remember you next time you pass by.

PS: Every time you pass by, just drop and say hi to them and have a quick chat.
