When you respect someone you have a good feeling about them. Their name rings with esteem when you think of them so you want to be around them. Disrespect devalues you. Why do people feel they need to devalue themselves to be accepted for a friendship, relationship or sex?

Because most of their "friends" are in fact fake friends who just want them around so they can use them to boost their own ego, they will stay with you just until you dare to disagree with them on one topic after which they will be terribly offended and not speak to you anymore. It happened to me several times, you think you are good with somebody because your areas of interest and opinions happen to overlap, but sooner or later you hit a bump, a difference of opinion, and here is where the friendship is truly tested, i guess relationship too.

I'd seriously never consider devaluing myself to be around someone.
Always be the person to be followed.
I mean...why would I keep such a relationship/friendship with someone who's putting me on the edge?

What kinda retarded question is this? Who feels a NEED to devalue themselves? If someone truly has high value, they aren't out trying to make people happy so they can have friends.

i knew when you responded to this thread it would be some bull crap. guys all around are willing to devalue themselves for pussy. They are willing to turn into a dog. Why? Not because they don't value themselves. Its sex drive man. Most men value women more highly than them because of they cant control their sex drive.
