Lust, pride and comfort. I believe those are the top three reasons men date women. By lust I mean you see someone that looks good and you just want them. By pride I mean personal satisfaction and by that I mean you want to date a woman because it's some great accomplishment or the woman is hard to get and you want to date her because it hurts not to get your way. By comfort I mean emotional comfort because life is hard and stressful or you have some kind of pyschic pain you're dealing with. If remove these reasons why would you date? Who would care about dating?

If you're looking for a woman to make you happy. This rIsk causing an imbalance in your life where a female becomes more important to you than work, school, family and yourself.

Emotionally, With self-esteem you have standards and feel worthy. Behaviorally, you take an interest in doing things for yourself. An obsession with another person causes the symptoms of low self-esteem, but it's deeper than that. A lot times a person puts up with crap and does too much because they are hurting on the inside. A lot of guys on here laugh at me because I talk about feelings but your thoughts and emotions have a lot of value. The importance of respect is to protect yourself emotionally from the actions of others. It's about protecting your feelings and boundaries.

As far as, pride and dating women because you are prideful is problematic. You can't control people. If your sense of self is attached to dating a particular person it is in precarious hands. You can have an ego without attachments. I think therefore I am. I am the shit not because of my job, friends or money but because I think so. However, every experience that happens outside of your thought process has some effect you. So you want positive experiences. Your own thoughts have an influence on you but your experiences has an even greater influence. You want experiences just to build your confidence. So you would want to date a HB10 to give you secure confidence that you can do it in the future. You just need a peace outside of pride or it can drive you crazy.

So if we remove pride, comfort, and lust... Why date? For fun, but who does that.
