Tonite is february 13 2008 and i decided to share my feild report with you guys regarding the HB employee.
So i entered starbucks and noticed that the she was working tonite. As i walked in, my adrenaline started to rise and without planning this, routines started to flow through my head only to think about wat "cool" had advised me to do on a previous post.(Now keep in mind i feel that this girl is my one-itis,thats why the nervousness came into affect).Okay as im walkin in i noticed her noticing me, so right now i feel like Mel Gibson in "What Women Want" lol and this time was different, this time i was going to overcome the bs and do it. Being the employee,she initiates the convo by a simple
HB- hi what can i get you?
Me- tall vanilla Latte(like usual)
HB- so how are you today?
Me- well im a little curious
HB- really,about wat?
Me- pull her in a little over the counter, look behind me to find a 2 person line up so now i know i have a time constraint because shes busy"I was wondering what does it take to become a starbucks bean selector?"
HB- Looks at me then starts laughing,"are you serious"?
Me- No but i got you laughing didnt i.Hey (i pull her in a bit closer) do you have break some time soon?id like to show you something really cool, you have a line up and i dont want my coffee gettin cold.
HB- Looks at the time "yeah in about half an hour"
Me- Great,well im gona go read a magazine and sit right over there, so come join me for break.
HB- touches my back "hey,sorry for taking so long"
Me- wow i got kids in college are you always this late?(neg)
HB- Noooo
Me- i get up and pull up a chair so that shes kinda close to me."Im only joking"
HB- so whats your name?
Me- oh excuse me,allow me to introduce myself im Bruce Wayne
HB- starts laughing "ive never heard that one before"
Me- so i tell her my name "and you are?"
HB- Im Laura and wow i really like your name its unique(which it is)
Me- well i do get that a lot
HB- so wat is it you wanted to show me?
Me- well i actually read a book on palm readings and id like to try it on you.
HB- okay my palm is all yours
So i tell her a few things about her future, did the number guess and believe or not she picked seven and so did i

Me- Omg youve got to be kidding me

Me- Did you know that gemini and aquarius are supposed to be very well matched?

HB- So what do you do
Me- Well,i fight crime
HB- (laughing) no honestly what do you do?
Me- now i know she has a great sense of humor " well im in an apprenticeship program as an automotive tech"
HB- so your a mechanic?
Me- we like to be called automotive techs
HB- thats so hot
By now shes giving me the "Doggy dinner bowl look" and i never knew girls liked a grease monkey
Me- Yes i really know how to use my tools(kinda regret saying that)
HB- smiles and stares at me really deeply and shakes her head.(couldnt understand the head shake)
Me- so what do you do?
HB- Im in school for business,human resources and some pschology courses
Me- really so you know about Sigmund Freud
HB- OMG how do you know about him,your gettin better and better
Me- Ive read a few books
If any of you ever meet a girl who studies psychology mention him and his theories and they will be overwhelmed.
Me- So i notice that i have her and its time to close."Well its gettin kinda late so i better go and your break should be over by now, i dont wanna get you fired but what are you doin this weekend,would you like to go snowmobiling with me.
HB- You own a snowmobile?
Me- Yes and a dirt bike.
Seriously guys invest in a toy and take them theyll love it.
HB- Thats awsome and so are you but i have a BF
Okay my heart dropped, i froze in disbelief and started to think.
Me- Well your in luck because im not asking for your hand in marriage im asking you to come and have some fun with me so heres my number i really gotta go now call me if you wanna come cause im goin with or without you.
Shook her hand,gave her a kiss on the cheek and said " it was nice meeting you" then left.
Seriously i got a text from her at about 11:15 my time stating "I cant stop thinkin about you call me on friday so we can plan out the weekend this is my number."
Id like to thank you guys from my previous post for not letting me use that routine. Honestly if theres anything that i couldve done better please let me know.
