this post is inspired by 3 things a video on the internet and 2 movies ex machina and 50 shades of grey. before anyone says that this is any kind of justification of any type of abuse is wrong. more like an opinion. ill explain the plots of all 3 and explain the relevance. ill start with ex-machina... the film is about an impressionable young guy who wins a contest to stay with his billionaire genius boss who in actuality is developing an artificial intelligence in a female robot. the contest winner is there to test if the robot is actually conscious or just unaware machine. the more he sits with her she basically seduces him as she is kept in a compound with no ability to escape. she lies feigns interest and tells him she loves him just so he can develop a plan for them to escape. but it doesnt end with them escaping she knowingly leaves him in sealed room to die. now the internet video it was filmed as an experiment it hows 2 sides firstly on a public street a guy attacks a girl with his hands around her neck loads of guys and girls drag him off her and restrain him. now later on in the same street the same guy and girl appear only this time she attacks him guess what the crowd did? nothing they stood there and watched some even laughed. yet if he would in any way retaliated he would have been the bad guy.
finally fsog, if you dont know guy meets girl he doesnt want a stereotypical romance relationship but likes BDSM she explores that world but falls for him when she asks him how he would punish her for breach of rules he complies with a belt so she dumps him...
heres my problem in this. it like society is saying to you today men you have to treat your woman like a princess however girls you can treat a guy as shit as you want. lets take the 2 movies its ok for a women to lie manipulate seduce and toy with a man however if a guy wants loveless sex without emotion and you tell her that, thats bad as your toying with the woman because she has feelings.
First of all, paragraphs are your friend.
Not even sure where you get the "treat women like a princess thing. In Ex Machina it sounds like a cautionary tale NOT to get used by a woman. In 50 shades he's actually abusive towards her, and the youtube video doesn't even involve a relationship... just a staged fight.
Furthermore, in 50 Shades she broke up with him because she loves him and wants something more. It's not a moral judgement, it's her respecting herself. Just like if you're in love with a girl, and she friend zones you it's time to end that relationship.
As for the fight video... I don't even know what point you had with that.
