Alright so this girl is an intern at the place I worked (i just left a week ago) at. I only saw her 2 days a week but barely cause she works at another section. Every time I see her I do neg her about the boring crap she's doing like filing papers and what not. It really helped that everyone liked me at work and I would tell DHV stories to coworkers while she's standing there looking at me.

She doesn't initiate conversations with anyone other than the 2 people she works with. But she can hold a conversation.

So this is what I saw that I'm not sure if you'd take it as an IOI or not.

On my last day they gave me a little going away party and all the women workers were gathered around including the intern. One of the coworkers pulled me in to the group and said some thing along the lines of, "Ladies here's an eligable bachelor." All the girls were still just smiling and the intern had her whole body turned away from it. Now normally that might not be an IOI but I remember when I was really shy I would do the same thing when I was feigning disinterest.

Now going with my gut instinct I just took at as IOI and started to talk to her alone. I tried to make eye contact but she would avoid it like no other. She's looking all around, not just one spot.

There were just so many mixed signals I didn't get the balls to pull the trigger and ask for her #. 2 days after, I was really regretting it and I found her on myspace. Ugh lame I know.

Me: "Hey you can wait in traffic for 2 hours after work or go get a drink with me at a wine bar next to work, think about it and let me know."

(3 days later)
Her: "Getting a drink sounds chill. I'm out of town for a while but I'll msg you when I get back."

I requested a friend add on myspace after her msg but she hasn't accepted. And she's been on myspace to be able to accept it. Now I'm in a loop. Did my gut feelings fail me? Or did I fail myself for not getting the # before I quit work? I think I might know the answer but I just need other people's opinions.

Yeah some girls are just shy so they can be harder to read so you gotta look at in a different way. You should just tried to humor her and charm her and see how she reacted. Like trying to force IOI and complience testing.
Im not a big fan talking to girls over the net, its alot easier for them to not answer or to reject you. Also it shows alot of intrest when trying to set things up this way. It maybe myspace that was the problem here. Its best done in person. If you meet her try to stick to phone contact

Ya I think I kinda shot myself on the foot here. I left the job and I prob wont see her again unless I get get her phone # if she ever replies back. I'm gonna give it till the end of this week, then try to tell her straight up that she didn't keep her word. I'll add the "We're so over, you can keep the dog" line just so it doesn't sound too serious.
