Some of you may be thinking how could this 60 something year old musician who plays the piano have anything worthwhile for the pick up community? well.....
Look at his past wives/girlfirends: Christie Brinkley, Katie Lee and Elle McPherson.
You know what he has to say about it?
In reference to ex-wife Katie:
"B.J.: She really didn’t know about me. She thought I had a song called “Uptown Girl” and “Only the Good Die Young.” That’s all she knew. She thought I was a one-hit-wonder kind of guy."
"B.J.: A lot of guys are just too intimidated to even ask them out, but I had a great way to meet people. People are just interested in you because you’re a rock star. O.K. Some guys use a car. Some guys have a cute dog. I’m a rock star. That’s who I am, what I do. What’s wrong with that?"
and
"On the other hand, I was married to some beautiful women. I always get compared to how beautiful they are and how not beautiful I am, and it’s kind of funny, it’s like “Beauty and the Beast.” I don’t mind being the beast, I want them to be good-looking, and if they don’t mind me looking like me, why should I care?"

Lessons to be taken from this:
1) Even if you are a rockstar you can be obscure and an unknown. Billy Joel wanted to make an impression, so he took her out to a nice Italian restaurant for dinner and his own broadway play afterwards. Oh boy what an impression. From being an unknown to making a fantastic impression, billy joel and anyone for that matter can meet a woman and bring her into their reality, to show them how special their world is and that she is lucky to be apart of it. In addition, by being unknown you are mysterious and can be that aspiring rockstar or whoever you want to be because thats who you are and theres nothing wrong with that.
2) No matter how you look, even with the biggest nose and fattest gut in all of the music industry, you can still believe in yourself to get the finest women in the land. As long as you are congruent and think, believe and commit yourself that you deserve to desire the finest women, your looks do not matter. (Of course, dress, fitness and other factors come into play but thats a discussion for a different post)
In addition, I found this aspect of Billy Joel's interview especially interesting. Here he is discussing famous composers
Question: Do you think there’s a finite number of great songs in any one person?
B.J.: Everybody is different. Some writers can write reams of great books and then J. D. Salinger wrote just a few. Beethoven wrote nine symphonies. They were all phenomenal. Mozart wrote some 40 symphonies, and they were all phenomenal. That doesn’t mean Beethoven was a lesser writer, it’s just some guys are capable of more productivity, some guys take more time. Mozart pisses me off because he’s like a naturally gifted athlete, you listen to Mozart and you go: “Of course. It all came easy to him.” Beethoven you hear the struggle in it. Look at his manuscripts, and there’s reams of scratched-out music that he hated. He stops and he starts. I love that about Beethoven, his humanity shows in his music. Mozart was almost inhuman, unhuman.
The lessons I take from this are:
1) There will be naturals like Mozart who are just born with the skills to pick up women and write beautiful music
2) there will be many AFCs like Beethoven who need time, effort and dedication in order to get the same results
My Main Epiphany
3) No matter how many women you may pick up, you need to understand that you may not be able to get the same number of girls that Style, Mystery, Adam Lyons or other gurus claim that they get and their students get similarly to how Beethoven and others could not come close to the number of symphonies that Mozart created. You need to understand your skill level and appreciate the symphonies you write and the girls you sleep with because at the end of the day it does not matter how many girls you sleep with but only if you are happy with your effort. I bet Beethoven was happier with his compositions then Mozart due to the fact that he struggled, he knew he struggled and also knew he produced wonderful music due to his struggle. Evolving from an AFC to a PUA is a struggle. An aspiring PUA is happy when he scores a solid HB10 due to the fact that he struggled, he knew he struggled and also knew that his struggle to become a PUA helped him get that HB10. At the end of the day, the end result is the same: a great piece of music or a great piece of ass.
Life is not about what is the meaning of life. Your ultimate destination does not matter. The journey you take to get to the destination is what defines you as a person and shows your character. This journey can be either short and easy or long and strenuous but at the end of your day and eventually your life, you need to look back upon your actions and decide "Was it all worth it?" Look at the people you meet, the places you go and the events you experience because your life is not just fucking different women everyday but your friends, family, your community and your reality/world you have created for yourself and the people you love. Sleeping with women can be a means to an end but make sure you understand the reasons why and the journey you need to take in order to get there otherwise your words to yourself and to others would be as meaningless as a bumblebee in winter.
Keep it real,
