A situation came up this Friday night where I found myself unsure of what to do. I was at a fraternity formal dance. My date's friend happened to go to this dance with one of my fraternity brothers and we all sat at the same table. My date became akward when my fraternity brother and my date's friend started to hook up at the table. She was saying it was gross and wanted to leave the table. This situation arose several times throughout the night and I was debating as to how to react.

Another problem I came across that night was when she was sitting on my lap and I told her she was heavier than expected. She asked me, are you calling me fat? I got caught off guard and I did not know what to say off the top of my head and she became very offended pretty much ending our night.

The best thing to do would have been to stay cool through all of it. For the first part, where she wanted to leave the table, you could've used that as an oppurntunity to spend a few moments alone with her, even teased her about being a prude or something like that. For the other part about the weight, I would've just laughed it off, if you genuinely didn't mean it like that then you should've let her know that, then the problem would've been avoided.

I read this post and my alarm sounds. So should yours. Just these two details would be enough for me to forget that chick. She reeks of a LSE-LD girl. You should get rid of her.

At the same token though, the girls that don't like to show their affection in public are freakier behind closed doors. As far as the comment goes about her being heavier than he expected, he shouldn't have said that with out a good follow up. Think before you speak. This is like a a game of chess. Play a move in your head, come up with possible outcomes, play accordingly in your head however many moves ahead you can be. The more plays ahead you can be, the better your game. You don't call a girl heavy with out her thinking you mean she is fat. Play it off like, "Maybe you would be lighter if you sit like this" And move her into a more sensual 1 on 1 position with you where she is sitting face to face and can pull off a kiss or two.
