I was thinking of some things I do that could possibly count as a DHV when explained in conversation, and the thought of modeling came to mind; I've considered getting a career in it for awhile. The more I thought about it the more it would seem like bragging if I brought it up and there's alot of people who claim to be "models" out there and that doesn't help either. So I figured that if I carried around a couple of my portfolio pics with me, maybe even for an impromptu picture routine, that I could justify my bringing it up and prove that I'm somewhat genuine. I really like them, for what it's worth. I got a few that I'm thinking of taking; one's a James Dean-esque style, another is a mock Abercrombie & Fitch pic, and my personal favorite is one where I'm dressed like a UFC fighter.

I personally feel that it's worth a field test. Though I'd like to get some input on how I would bring it up, or maybe some way to explain why I'd be carrying pictures of myself around without coming off like a conceited ***hole

An update, I realized that carrying full-sized photos with me wouldn't work, so I'm thinking that I'll keep them in my dorm and use them as possibly an excuse to get the girl back to my pad (ala the female justification mindset) and I'll go like "Hey, you should come back to my place and I'll show you my portfolio! I think you'll like it."

I think if they are at your dorm that can and most probs would work, but it has to be done correctly like say if sha has a portfolio too and is interested in that kinda thing etc, just play it cool and act like it is nothing and you will avoid being conceiest a-hole lol

I'm not too sure about this- as said above, it would have to be done in the correct manner. Obviously don't go sarging telling people that you're a model- it would seem like your self promoting.

I think that the best way to play this one is to leave some pictures around in your room, let her notice them and go into a routine on them (similar to how you would if you conveniently left a guitar by your bed). Then maybe make a few jokes about how serious you look in your pictures, lighten the mood, etc.
