I reckon the advantages for both are:

BEFORE

1. You have reached a first milestone and feel surer she's and

2. You made it clear you're a sexual human being that doesn't want to just be friends;

3. If she accepts to come after kissing/making out you might guess your task at home will be easier;

4. You can feel higher (physical) connection after kissing/making out


AT YOUR PLACE

1. You can invite them over with a lower key approach (I'm a cool guy who doesn't make a big deal out of it)

2. She might feel less pressure for sex with no much physical contact before (ASD are lower, it might be easier for her to accept it if nothing too "physically compromising" happened yet)

3. You have your bed close by, no risk of attraction going down;

4. If no kissing/making out happened you haven't showed your cards yet and the mystery/adventurous feelings are stronger ("why the hell is he inviting me over without making a move here, might as well say yes rather than risking losing him if I say no.. ")

You're overthinking. Whenever you feel like kissing, and you properly gamed your woman, go for it.
