I have never been one for new years resolutions, they are one of two things for me: giving up smoking or do more exercise. Both of which I throw out after about an hour so this year im going down a different route, im going to not give a fuck! Ironic no?

My resolution will be to write a list of ten things I will give a fuck about, eg paying bills, sex, holidays, mental and physical fitness etc (the essentials for a happy modern day life) and put it up on my wall. Outside of those ten things my life will be "give a fuck" free. I cant afford a car this year? So fucking what, ill get the bus. I missed the bus, fuck it I only give a fuck about my list. You see what im getting at? I have spent the last 24 years of my life collecting and subscribing meanings to the most bizarre things like how people perceive me, what my outfit says about me, will I have enough cash to but myself a car next month? With the relative shortness of a human beings life do these things really matter? Im now thinking they dont...

Of course a life has to have direction and drive hence the list, but people are so distracted by the bedizenments of this world that they miss the whole picture. They concentrate on the little flickering white speck in the corner of the cinema screen but miss the important plot thread of the movie. Well no more for me

It got me thinking, how do some mens lives become so centralised around one women? What is it that makes them become such a slave to that pussy that they are willing to give up their dignity, their morals and their senses for "her"? Oneitus..

Of course the answer is wanting to spread the seed, sex.

So for those of you who post anything that could be titled, "im in the friend zone halp!" shut the fuck up, read that article and stop lying to yourself and that one women you think is so fucking special! Write a list of what you want and add to it "dont be that guy again!".

Fuck me, Im reading some quality posts this christmas.

I think your new years resolution its good because you are flexible, still you dont lose your goals.

Life can be that way: with goals but flexible if the outcome changes.

Towards the link you posted, its in fact a really good read, I find myself in a rare postition. Ive been the nice guy for a long time now, and Ive changed a lot thanks to female and male friends (real friends, Im not looking the backdoor to her frontdoor), and see the intentions of other nice guys towards women and laught at it. But still havent changed completly, I think the reason why is that Ive acted like this for so long now its hard for me to accept I need to change completly.

No more Mr. Nice Guy its a perfect new years resolution. Taking both the time and the effort to sit your ass and talk to yourself about what youve been up to and what results gave you its an important step in your wrought.

Here is my "fuck it" list for now, I am going to revise it tomorrow and then put it into print to spend the year on my wall

1 - Friends & relationships
2 - Mental well being
3 - Physical well being
4 - Paying bills
5 - Sex
6 - Two holidays - America (April) & Euro Tour (end of the year)
7 - Reading
8 - Hobby (un-decided)
9 - What do I want to do!? Work it out
10 - Learn Latin

If anyone has any ideas, suggestions or revisions then let me know. I am only really posting this here for my own records but input is always valid.
