A girl who i had been friends with - I recently started to develop more feelings for her. She didn't seem like she was overly interested in me sexually (although I know the friendship means a lot to her - I helped her thorough a lot of heavy shit years ago). But I'm not sure of her feelings exactly.

Anyway, because she didn't seem too interested, I decided to freeze her out - both to stop me falling into a one-itis situation and also because who knows it might change her mind! I ignored her texts for a few weeks or at most sent her a one word non-committal response (which i did on two occasions).

Today she sent me a message saying "are you annoyed with me or something? You haven't spoken to me a lot recently."

How is best to reply? If I'm honest, I'm not that bothered about keeping the friendship - I mean I would like to, but if I had the option of 1) risking a relationship and losing her completely or 2) being friends, I would chose option 1.

i would go with ''oh hi how are things'' no reference to her comment about annoyance if she keeps it up just lie and say ''nah ive just had a lot of things going on been busy''

If she's already chasing you just follow up it up with DHV. "Lol, no. I've been hitting the gym pretty hard and heavy with some buddies after work, so I've been really busy lately. Why, what's up?"

The best way to play off a gir disobeying or ignoring you is to act like you are too busy to notice.

Dude have you made your intention clear to her? Does she know you're interested in her sexually? If no then this whole freeze-out thing was a waste of time. If you don't mind losing her for the chance of a relationship just be fucking honest about it. Seriously if you don't care about losing her you would've already done so. It seems you care more than you actually say you do.

Your best DHV is to be honest and congruent with your intent. Call her up and tell her "Hey, no I'm not mad or annoyed. I started to realize that I began to find you incredibly cute and needed some time off. But if I'm honest I still think you're cute." then invite her over to cook dinner together.

If she starts questioning you just stick to your ground, stay calm and rational. It is absolutely natural to be sexually attracted to someone. You have done absolutely nothing wrong. It's nature doing its work. And if she can't handle that then seriously she should fuck off because you were completely honest with her and it's her problem if she can't handle the truth.
