For a bit of a change I'm thinking of trying to do the whole "fake gay" thing, especially in my day game (eg. coffee shops/train/bus/library/gym).

Has anyone here tried this? What are the main stumbling blocks with this approach and how do I get around them? Does pretending to be gay but still DHVing with things like magic tricks work?

:D Thanks,

People think I'm gay when I'm not pretending. Painted fingernails and overusing the word "crazy" can do that to you. I don't do anything to make myself seem less gay; flamboyant people are fun to be around. Whether or not it's helping me get girls into bed, I can't say, but it is disarming and I've had some great party nights (during which I did not hook up) just because girls thought I was harmless. ^__^

I've personally never tried it... other than to use the old Style line "Girl, if I wasn't gay, you would so be mine." I think it's hard for me because I just don't look gay. But I think that it's actually a decent way to disarm some defenses. And in the long run, once you know the girl and she realizes you're not gay, I think it won't hurt your courtship.

Respectfully,

M

Thrillseaker. The guys have a good point about in the book they don't actually pretend to be gay. Thats not really the point. It's used as more of an early thing to say so it takes away the fact that you're actually hitting on her when you are. When Mystery used it it became clear not so later on to the girl i think. And he made it clear later. Uhmm because after getting attention, DHV ing, Yes escalating you notice the change into making your intentions clear i.e. no friend zone, I'm here for fun etc.

AND M Did you say courtship?

M... now days no body knows what a gay guy looks like, you can see a normal guy and you would never think that he is gay.

I ran this routine in Miami not too long ago at a maridi grass big ass party.
ME: Your so cute, if I wasn't gay we'd be dancing and kissing on the dance floor right now.
Target: OH really lol
Friend of Target: what did he say? - she repeats...they both look at me like
dam he's cute and are opened, period.
ME:gotta get back to my friends

Later Me to targets friend:What's up with the Jacket's your in Miami, don't tell me...your the president of the Hispanic Chamber. Both start cracking up. I said
let me try on your jacket. She takes it off and I laugh trying to put it on...my shoulders are too big...Hey (grab her hands) let's have that dance :)

Her...Ohhh I thought you were gay....me Nah just F'in with you....Her OK :)

A few things I really like about this opener is that even though it's kind of lame and played out in the pua world, most girls haven't really been exposed to it. And since a lot of sets want to blow you out right off the bat, no girl wants to be mean to a flirtatious gay guy, so they'll smile and hear you out. And it's also seemingly self-sabotaging since you are basically telling her that you aren't going to pursue anything with her and that you are a homosexual, which is one of the worst things a heterosexual man can be compared to. I guess that's why it's such a good disqualifier and why Mystery used it so much. And what's she gonna' do if you keep on talking to her? She's not gonna' say: "You can't keep talking to me because you said you are gay!"
