So iv been talking to this NFL cheerleader for about 3 weeks. She is actually my account manager for the agency that recruited me for my engineering job. Got her number a few days after I started... We flirt, she sends a ton of IOIs and we text or email or phone calls DAILY chatting about all kinds or random shit. She sends me LONG ass emails about her life and kid and blah blah blah I know i could get her if i just escalated.. but i haven't... However... 2 problems...

1. Im still married and she knows that. (but separated)
2. She has a Kid. Which wouldn't be a problem but I know the Kid's dad. He's the club owner of 3 clubs here in the city which i go to and to be honest wouldn't want to piss him off... Not that im a pussy or fear HIM but i enjoy getting free drinks from his bartenders and cutting long lines. etc etc

Not sure if i should escalate or just keep her as a friend (shes friends with all the other cheerleaders dah). hmm

Dude, what does your gut tell you? Do you see this girl as a LTR possibility, or just DTF?

Well see that's the problem. My gut is saying "stay away" too many negatives. Shes my account manager, she's my acquaintances baby mama, she currently has a guy/bf shes been on and off with for a year, she's slept with my friend every now and then for a year (the babys daddy), she knows im married. My penis is saying "what are you gay?" Shes an NFL cheerleader how many of these are you going to get in a lifetime? Other thing is that we really connect cause shes actually really smart and down to earth. So LTR is a possibility down the road. Defiantly wouldn't be a one night stand even if it wasn't a LTR. Crap. Ill probably leave it as is for now and just keep being friends.

It will be hard to not enter the forever friend zone! You need to convey that you are interested, yet that this is not the right time for either of you to be getting physical. Seems both of you have some shit to get straightened out first!

You are probably right for now i wont escalate. However, from experience there is no such thing as a forever friend zone! Takes some work from you can convert girls in and out of a friend zone through different levels of calibration escalation manipulation. Oh and alcohol helps too lol ONLY exception to this rule is if there is 0 attraction and you cant build any with any method you use (verbal, physical, etc). Then there is nothing you can do. Iv had another really close girl friend tell me a week ago that her IDEAL man would be her best guy friend first. (obvious IOI but i ignored it, i don't want her lol)

perhaps the fact that she's an nfl cheerleader is in the way. forget that for a moment. and forget anything else. just imagine you, on a deserted island, with her. what would you do? if the answer is what i think it is..... don't be that fast to friendzone her. you might regret it. maybe you can get her out again with some finesses, but perhaps she will be in something serious by then. perhaps she'll get back together with her ex. happens a lot. consider that this can play out completely differently than you imagined. don't pass up on the chance unless you really don't care.

I personally wouldn't do it. You're right too many negatives for a lay. The fact that she's a cheerleader really shouldn't mean anything other than bragging rights.

There are SO many women out there, so I'd just go out and maybe bag 2 hot ones to help yourself get over it.

Also, women who are sweet on you make great life allies. You can be sure that if you need her to swing you favors (game tickets, a hookup to a new job, etc.) she will. If you fuck her and leave her, it ain't gonna be pretty man.
