Not sure if you can really call them hired guns since they don't get paid for sales and didn't press me for sales but either way....

Last night, went to a mall I go to usually 1x a week. Talked to a girl at a store I've seen a few times, her co-worker comes over, HB9 (pretty type, not fake or overly hot). We all talked for a few, I left and came back 20 min later...that's where the fun started. Shopped at their store for a few, bought something (legit actually) then talked to them for about an hour about topics from sex to flirting to "that's what she said" jokes...awesome stuff. It was cool to talk to 2 girls who were open about sex, flirting, joking about it, etc. They were like best friends talking.

I negged the (obstacle?), talked to her directly at first although I could see my target was looking directly at me out of the corner of my eye (both behind the counter). Then I would neg her a bit, talk to her, back and forth, etc...classic Mystery stuff but I couldn't pull her since they were both at work, store was dead. Eventually the target admitted she flirted with people a lot but still did the regular IOI's...hair playing, leaning into me and on the counter (to which I would lean back in), playful, did the "oh my god you did not just say that about me" face and comments when I told her she had a couple wrinkles and she looked 47 (despite being 19).

Anyways, I don't wanna press like I have in the past and waste this. My question is do I go back within the next couple days so as to keep the good rapport going and not fading? Or do I make them wait, build tension and visit them next tues-wed? I should have gotten both of their FB's. I see them both as friend material but the target as more obviously...I wanted to angle it as a "I should get your FB's, you are both cool girls who are easy-going and I'm always up for meeting new friends" so as to lower the shields, so to speak.

Also, my bday is Wed the 16th which I've already told them. I could also stop in the day before or the day of and ask them what they got me for my bday (when I say them I really mean the target but the other girl too). We also talked about some movies which reflect our humor since we share the same dry humor style, I gave them some recommendations so I could also burn the dvd's for them or let them borrow them so that I have a way of stopping in again to get them back (like giving a girl a ring at a bar so she needs to stay close so you don't lose it).

I'm usually good at this stuff but I've had a bad few months so want suggestions, I'd really like to get this to break me out of a rut. I see the target as someone I def wanna hook up with but she's got a cool personality so maybe more? I feel like a kid with this partial one-itis haha

What kind of store is it?

And first off, I know how it is getting back into the swing. The partial one-itis always happens. Don't let it get to your head before you become "store creeper."

I would say walk right in and say you're shopping for your birthday... they better be coming... blah blah blah

It's a kitchenware store...hard to find stuff I need/want lol. That's the reason I talked to them in the first place; they were out front talking to a couple kiosk people and I made the comment that they're always standing out there, looking bored and need to start approaching old people to get sales.

If I visited 1x a week (which I do on thursday nights to kill time anyways) I think it'd be OK. I just don't wanna go back next week and have the fun, easy-going vibe from last night wasted and have to re-establish. I was thinking about going tomm/sun because I need to get a Mother's day present anyways (legit) so if they're there I could ask for suggestions, joke a bit, leave to get the present, come back and then get the FB info. While I'm there I can joke about my bday and tell them that I expect a present wed when I return

Tell them you're baking a birthday cake and you need help! haha

Invite them out to your Bday anyway... probably easier to get a number.

I can't believe you called her old, you never call a girl fat and you never call a girl old, this is the key of communicating with women and has probably been for the past 10,000 years, have you never talked to a woman before? Or seen a movie?

Even if you walk in on a weekly basis which isn't a whole lot, it will still be obvious that you are "stalking" them. Hot girls who work in public places get hit on 100 times a day, sure you were probably unique in your approach and stand a little more of a chance, but not if you keep coming back to shop, I mean do you want to come off as a guy who is crazy about kitchen supplies?

I say that the only chance you have to recover is to come back in with one of your items, obviously used, no receipt and try to return it, pretend like you are causing a scene but slowly make it more and more ridiculous, use arguments that makes no sense at all, eventually she will understand that you are making fun of her and just playing. You will be a cool and original dude that totally spiced up her day. Then just be direct and say something like, hey, if you can't help me with this then at least join me for a coffee after work.

Be direct and be a man, and don't call women old or fat!

I called her old as an obvious joke...she's 19 and didn't look more than 25. She knew I was kidding but did a "did you just say that" look then laughed.

And by stopping in, I mean the mall. The store is located inside a mall so I would be in the mall walking around but wouldn't actually go in that store. They hang around outside the front of their store entrance a lot (in the actual mall) so I'd like walk by, say hi for a few, etc.

I completely see what you are saying but I would still advice you to avoid any jokes about age or weight, there will always be better topics to joke about.

And as for hired guns in general, you know they have guys hitting on them all the time, but most of the time it is either so blunt that it is grotesque or it is subtle shy flirting. If you are original yet direct you will catch them off guard and that's your best chance to advance with them!

Tuesday may be better. Thoughts such as "maybe hes going to try to make moves on me!" "maybe I don't know him well enough" "maybe I'm imposing" and others creep into a womans head over a period of a few days. Then it will also look natural and random.

Just say... you should give me your num... I'm having a birthday party. If I'm not too busy stop by with your friend or something.

Then you have the num and there is no pressure.
