If you just go for any girl who becomes attracted to you early on then yes you will get laid more and increase your numbers and if that's just what you want then read no further.

If you want to improve your pick up skills, get the hb9-10 who seems like a total bitch and turn her around to like you and want to be with you, then your pua and social skills will improve but you will waste more time and get laid less.

It mostly depends what your end goal is. To fuck a lot? to fall in love with the perfect girl for you? to just challenge yourself and become the best pua you can be? Depending on what you want, you will have to adjust your goals accordingly.

A part of me wants to improve my seduction skills, become really good at sex and experience different women so I will take some time, probably a few months and follow warpless, stelar's, skills, type of methods. All this and more. You can see where I'm getting at with this. These are the reasons I choose to be a PUA.
