For those of you who've made a regular practice of this childish act, here's why you you do it: What ever you wrote tells others in the forum that you are not alpha and you have a weak inner game. Unless you have the IQ of a mountain goat, you can probably read your own writing and figure out that what you wrote is some weak shit. So you figure if you sprinkle some fairy dust, "Well you had to be there . . . I control my shit. I am so alpha," people will go along with your story and applaud in approval. Come on, lol . . . get outta here! 7 year olds can detect your BS.

Here's the real problem: If you do ^this here, in front of an anonymous Internet audience, you probably offer your monkey act to those around you in real life; this is sad. I'm not sure which National Geographic junkie PUA began the alpha movement but I think this has gotten out of control. By definition, in any group, there is one alpha. Do you really think that every CEO in the World gets laid and all those guys on the sales floor get no pussy at all? "Alpha" in PU is merely an adulterated, over-simplified pill for dumb asses who can't remember more than one takeaway from a weekend boot camp. Look, these b-grade marketeers have you guys by the balls:

1. You don't get laid.
2. They tell you it's because you're not alpha.
3. You have no idea what this means but you just know that 'alpha' is something you are not.
4. You proclaim to the World that you are alpha. (alphas get laid right?)
5. The World laughs.

Please for the love of yourself, think about this carefully and refrain from self-advertisement of what you are NOT. This is a choice. You can just shut your mouth. Say nothing . . . and you'll be a better person for it.

I was talking to my date last night. She said that she had a "crew" of guys who protected her in her area because there was a lot of street crime. All she did was be nice to them and ask them how they were doing every once in a while. She didn't have to fuck them or pay them, and it probably helps that she's hot, but still.

Guys who think that you have to "out-alpha" the AMOG are going about it the wrong way.

I never consciously try to be the AMOG, I never think about being alpha (apart from working on my posture because I used to slouch as I'm quite tall), and yet I never seem to have problems with guys trying to insult, fight or fuck with me in any way.

I interact in a really positive way with people, give guys and girls compliments, and generally bring a good-natured, fun, joking vibe to the interaction. As long as people believe you're being honest (i.e. you're not trying to buy their time or supplicate to manipulate them to get them to like you) then they will appreciate a nice compliment and a joke or two, and will not want to bring you down or insult you, EVER.

Stop worrying about who the biggest, toughest looking guy in the room is. Don't try and make him look bad so you can look good. Just give value to people and be having fun yourself, whatever you're doing, and people will be naturally drawn to you and not want to fuck with you.

No, no . . . if you're not attracting others now, you simply haven't figured out how to shine light on the positive aspects of your traits. Discover the positives in yourself and embrace it; others will follow suit. Abandon yourself and nobody will find you. Stick with the negatives and things will remain the same. It's really just a choice.

I understand your position about people abusing the term alpha male and the use of it as a sales hook in PU, but wouldn't you agree there is value in studying and modeling alpha male characteristics? I have made an effort to changed the way I stand and sit, mannerisms among other things. Just something as simple as that I do think helps if for no other reason than change your physiology and it helps change your mood like Tony Robbins says. I believe that. I feel more confident when I stand up straight instead of hunched over looking at the ground all the time like I do when Im nervous and insecure. Like you've said before your neurology is trained and you fall into the bad habbit/pattern. Standing confidently has to help some. It's not a majic pill but I do think it is something to take that can help with confidence for instance.

To be honest when they state that all their really stating is your a pussy .In my view point it could be a sales tactic or it could be a term that generalizes a lot of behaviors of being an anti pussy .

I get what your saying at that people take this alpha thing way to far but if people read a guide on how to become an alpha their less likely to be more like a pussy and therefore more inclined to getting results.

To me Alphas are people who play rugby , American football , boxing , cage fighting , the army and any sort of aggressive sport . Their mens men and they get results .

I see what Kasabi's saying with his 7 dwarfs example. For instance your "mans man" example of the aggressive athlete as alpha doesn't jive with the make up wearing artsy rock star who's chill and moves a crowd with his talents and get laid just as much.

I'd just say they are different but I think they are probably similar in that they highlight their strenghts and draw on it and are both confident and carry themselves the same confident way. IMO you don't necessarily have to take on or model their persona or exterior but I do think there is a lot of value in looking at their deeper behaviors, and their confidence which they draw from their physic or talent and trying to get that or model that confident behavior.

Thanks, this is something ive had trouble with lately; the whole alpha thing and whats the 'right personality' to have. I never really believed in the alpha thing but im a bit lost on it all. 7 dwarves was a kick ass way to show it.

I think being alpha is rather more a state of mind then anything other. Like I do agree with Kasabi that it's more of a make-up in anything.. it more comes down to the Real Guy concept. Alpha is more the term that gives a stronger, seductive vibe to it - instead of the Real Guy shit.

For me, and here I go in the other way like you prolly know it - Alpha is my set of mind, my institute. I've learned to be agreeable with myself, to get the thought out of my head that I wasn't good enough. I've learned to be dominant in my life, to speak my mind, to come out for my sexual desires - to seduce when I want to, how I want to & more important - cuz I can. That's my "Alpha".
