In an attempt to generalize and simplify things as far as possible, I believe "game" so to speak can be roughly split into three pillars:

1. Looks
We can't deny it. Looks matter. We care about girls looking good, just as they care about guys looking good. However, there is more to looks than just your genetic inheritance (which you can't do much about). Being groomed, fit, well dressed and whatnot helps a long way. Confidence also helps, especially as it is reflected in your body language and tonality.

2. Confidence
Not only confidence, but actually knowing yourself, accepting yourself for who you are. Know who you are, what you like and don't like, what SPAM and behavior you accept from others, what your goals and prioritoes are etc. Be confident enough to not feel the need to prove anything to someone else, especially not a girl. The topic is huge, so let's leave it there.

3. Generosity
Not only generosity as in SPAM money and things, but at ALL levels! Neediness for instance come from a frame of selfishness. So do PUAs - they want girls. Being unselfish and offering "value" (whatever that is, it can be anything) and never expect anything in return, thats's good game. The attitude of "just having fun" is another way to be generous - you give other people good emotions without expecting anything in return. This topic can be huge as well.
