So, i'm going to this formal banquet with this girl and she said that she won't be seen with me if i wear a blue dress shirt there. I told her that that's fine with me an that my sister got me a really nice blue dress shirt and that's what i'm going to be wearing there. She just doesn't like blue and won't wear it becaause of that.
So i told her to wear some other color and that everything goes with blue. She said "no" and then said "have fun there" (she is still going because she already bought her ticket)

How do i handle this situation? I still want to have a date there but she is just being really immature and stupid right now. I will look extremely dumb without her as a date considering that everyone already knows that we are going together. What should i say to her at school and how do i resolve this?

Tough situation. you are right. I`ve past through situations like this, and I`m gonna tell you this - don`t let her to think, that you are her`s property, but don`t raise your arrogance level too high, because she will dump you.
I like this 4 words in the PU- "You are the prize", not she.

You have two choices, cave in and do what she wants, or not.

'Feel dumb'? Because other people think you are going with her?

For the NOT caving in answer..... Tell her that this is what you have decided to wear. Tell her that is she does not want to go, then fine. Do not throw a fit. Be indifferent to her not wanting to go. She will realize that she is being a baby and go, or not.

If not, find someone else. If you cannot, go by yourself. Have a great time. She will come around.
