I mentioned this once before, and I'm having less luck so I decided to post again, point out what seems to be working against me, and maybe get more info.

After school, I moved back home with my mom. I live in a suburban area that is mainly populated by families and young people. Despite her talking about how many people move back home, I notice very few women in their 20s in the area. There are two bars, but my work schedule makes it tough to go out more than once or twice a week. And that's usually one weekdays when places aren't too crowded. I have gone to the local shopping mall a few times, and only seen one girl worth opening. The bookstore near that mall has yet to have any girl I would like.

Now some of this can be chalked up to circumstance. There just aren't enough people my age in the area to constantly see them, but I also consider the possibility that I'm not thinking of places to go.

There are coffee shops like starbucks, but that just feels odd because I don't like coffee. I could join a gym, but to be honest I'm not that interested in working out beyond my home regiment and I don't like the idea of paying money in the hopes that I find women at the gym. Maybe I need to go out more on weekends for success, maybe I'm just not thining of venues. Ill admit I'm picky, as well, but I'm not going to open women that I'm not initially attracted to at all.

So guys, help me out, if you lived in a small town, where/when would you go out to try to meet new people? I should throw in that since moving home only three friends from college live in my area, so I'm mostly talking about solo sarging (hate that word, but it does work for this).

EDIT: I am going to a major music festival next week, so that is definitely an improvement over the recent weeks. If you'd like to throw in advice there, by all means. As of now I just don't plan on doing anything different if I see a chick there I think is cute as opposed to anywhere else.

Personally, I would probably travel to a nearby big city. That makes sense to me. But I don't know your situation and whether or not that actually makes sense for you.

I would game every time you saw an attractive girl. Meaning don't only pick up when "sarging" but rather chat up the girl who gives you lunch at the diner, who is behind you at the theater buying tickets, who's stopped at the red light next to you.

Sound doable? Or does that not fit our circumstances? I hear you on how few girls there are, and so my bottom line advice, I suppose is that you seize an opportunity every time you can, making yourself more efficient rather than simply boosting the number of opportunities...

I can drive to Pittsburgh every couple weeks, that's about it. Last time I did that I pulled off one number but I got flaked on. It was my fault for not building anything due to the short time we were actually talking. As for gaming girls at the places they work, diners etc, I always feel like I can't hold her up for that long. I work as a cashier, and I know there isn't much time to shoot the breeze with somebody before you gotta get back to work. I just am not sure if I could pull anything off in 2-3 minutes.

EDIT: I agree with the message though. I have to view every cute girl as an opportunity.

You could try to just build ground with them you dont have to close on the spot, if your not comfortable doing so. Just make sure they remember you, and build from there.

P.S. you probably dont want to piss in your own pool if it is a really small town

In a small town? Possibly. Only he can judge just how small his town is, and how likely it is he'll keep meeting the same people. But when he's in Pittsburg? It should be open close, open close.
