If you need some punk group (goth, emo, metal, rapper, whatever) to identify yourself with, then you are pretty much a loser. Be yourself man.
my point exactly - it did help me elevate my game to new level tho.

1. Watermelon, are you part of the PU scene...

You see the hypocrisy in that statement?

2. Alot of sub-cultures pin alot of focus on individuality, so this be yourself thing is really fucking stupid. A sense of belonging to a particular group of people has no effect on how individualistic you are.

Heck I'm scottish, becuase I identify as that, does that make me less of an individual.

Do I forfiet my " myown man" title becuase of that.

3. Fuck it, by that logic if Dr swing changed becuase of your post, he'd still be open to critique, just becuase you swap one form of extenaly learned behaviour for another does not equal individualism.

Simply put...
People are themselves, but also people identify with others and can see similarities, or an idea that they like, thus these groups form along with political groups etc etc

And I doubt a tendancy to conform or a want of belonging, two very natural instincts make someone a "loser".

I haven't been reading all the argument here, but I do have something to add:

Being a punk, talking to punk chicks is a shitload easier than talking to other chicks. When starting a conversation, she knows that we share something that is extremely important in our lives. Even better, I have yet to meet a pua in the punk scene, so girls aren't used to it at all and react EXTREMELY well to it.

If I'm at a show and I see a chick I want to talk to, I just do. No Pressure. Everyone's friends. I never get a cold shoulder or rejected. Not always get a number, but always a good conversation.

If I see a chick outside of a concert that I can tell is into punk, its even easier. We see each other and immediately have something in common. There really aren't alot of us, so seeing another person who shares something that deep with her makes her alot more open to conversation.

When i talk to chicks outside of punk rock, I have to do alot more "proving myself" and use alot more pua shit to get them interested.

good point.

I decided to go back and drop a line, again, watermelon the mystery method is partly based on the "tribalism" theory. If nobody wants to join your tribe or let you into theirs, thats when you fail.

I also assume by your previous statement you do not identify with the PUA community and that group?
