Notice most of the people saying its not a big deal don't have the disease. You could live your life never having to worry about if your dick is going to look like a dead body tomorrow, or you could wake up one morning twice a month with blisters on your junk. Its not like you can ignore it, it becomes a part of your life.

If you have blisters, its probably herpes. If it burns when you piss, it might be gonorrhea, but still could be herpes. Get tested. They will examine you, take blood, and q-tip your shaft. Takes about a week.

Herpes is NEVER cured. Yes, over time it may reduce, but that time-frame is years. You can look forward to outbreaks once or twice a month. Then it lays dormant in your spine (lower back). The girl I got it from said she had no signs, but she knew she had it. She didn't even bother to suggest using a rubber, and she couldn't blame alcohol she was sober. I suggested it the first time, but I stopped doing it after that and that was the end of it. The blisters aren't as bad as realizing that you can't even get oral ever again. Its a mental disease because its a physically obnoxious and stigmatized one. Don't take it seriously at your own fucking risk.
Not get oral, like even when it's dormant, no blisters? Can it be transmitted if it's not active by oral sex?

The risk is always there. Its harder to get oral from genital, but by harder I mean you can still get it. Saying that anything is hard to do during sex is meaningless in practice, you either get it or you don't. There's no trick, there's no tongue technique that dodges the virus. Herpes affects people differently. She might not have signs, then you get it and it lays hell upon you. I will admit this, and don't take this as a free pass, but I gave a liberal amount of oral and I don't have or get cold sores. I consider myself lucky, but not lucky enough.

The worst feeling is to feel the moment you get burned. I don't know if everyone has felt it, but I still remember it, I felt a burn on my dick while I was pounding her from the back and my mind went nuts, I had to slow down for a minute and pull out because I thought I started a fire in there. I knew instinctively that something wasn't right, but it was too late at that point and I wasn't about to stop, put on my pants, and leave on suspicion that I might have just gotten a disease from some chick that has no signs.

I dont have the STD youre talking about, but when I got mine, I thought I felt something too. maybe just paranoia... turns out I was right though.

Honestly, if that's true, its the best thing I've read this month. Don't trust women to take care of you, they can barely take care of themselves. They get manipulated by all sorts of psychology and "game", they go and bang some guy who says romantic things to them, and then they wake up the next day with a firepit where things go to die in place of the "pure" funbox that used to be there. It doesn't mean they're sluts, there's plenty of people who got herpes from their first, but don't take any chances. Ever. You did something most guys won't: read an entire post about a disease that most people think they will never get because it can't happen to them. I got news for you, that used to be me. Roughly 6 months before I joined this particular forum, I was brand new to PUA. I visited a couple other lesser-known sites. I got into a relationship as soon as I started reading PUA, turns out I'm kind of a natural, but it ended up going sour after a few months. I took my chances with her too, no rubber after the 2nd time. She told me she got tested and I took her word for it. Months after that, I screw her friend, she got me sick, and then I was so disgusted with myself, and her, that I completely cut her off and stopped talking to her. No argument, no goodbye, no seeing eachother at all, just silence. I know that she's with a new guy now, and I feel sorry for him because I don't know if she learned anything from our experience. You have no way of knowing if that new guy is really you. There may have been someone looking at me and shaking their head, I'll never know and its too late.

So if you have the virus do you tell? and if so when and how do you break it to people?
Surely keeping quiet on a ONS when the virus is dormant is acceptable if you wear protection, otherwise the other person is probably going to bail every time because the risk is far greater than the reward. Probably a question for the older/wiser members of the community....

Whats the rsik of getting STD when:
a) you receive unprotected blowob
b) you give her unprotected oral

compared to when you have unprotected sex?

I always use condom for sex, but I do not use it for a) and b) there...

Yeah....I'm not proud of this. But last year I...uuhhhmmm....seem to have contracted....a slight hint of syphilis.

I blamed my ex and broke up, then got a furious message when she found out that she was not infected and that I had gotten it from someone else, only to have it turn dormant when I started dating her. Yeah....

It would have been a funny story, if it had happened to someone else.

Hey guys,

I'm brand new to this forum although I followed the PUA community for a few years now.
I stumble upon this post while I was googling "herpes" - as I've been diagnosed with genital herpes this morning (I did the blood test, culture, and stuff).

I cannot say I've been 100% secure in the past with rubber but this shit is kinda crazy as I do not (yet?) know how I got it (and I dont see myself calling (when I have the numbers) all the past girls I had sex with). My current girlfriend is going to get tested to see whether she has it or not (she never had the symptoms). This is so fucked up as you can get it from blowjobs or cunni!!! Who's doing BJ with a rubber???

I've got to say it's been a massive shock for me, especially when looking at internet. Every thing your read about it is so f****** nuts and drives you crazy. As said by one of the guys here on this forum, this is more psychological than anything else.

Reading thru this forum has been quite helpful Ive got to say, plus linking this with what my doctor said to me "your fun days are over", I take it as a "message sent from god" (Im a strong atheist tho) to change the way I interact with girls. Forget about the one night stands, stop the shit ending up in no where with girls I dont know after heavy drinking, etc.... Now its time to seduce not the average birds but the one I really want and be serious about it. I'll say the girl having a guy who says "no" at the first opportunity to have sex may be interesting:

the guy, the 1st opportunity to have sex: "sorry Im not interested in quick and dirty sex nor one night stands"
then, with the same girl: "you know Ive got a very funny disease which will never cure and that I can transmit to yo its called HERPES". Best case scenario she may become my new girl friend, worst case scenario she runs away and tells everyone about my cock disease (obviously I never told anyone about it).

I'd be very interested in knowing how guys from this forum handles their sexuality while having genital herpes?

Wow, I read this thread, and was about to post again on it saying the same thing, without realizing I had posted here before, and then noticed that I wrote that I had slept with 12 women (this was back over a year ago).

I'm at like 30 now.

No symptoms, but I probably have herpes, as do a lot of the more successful guys reading this. Condoms are nowhere near 100% protection for it, either.
