i can probably order some top cologne off amazon for a lower price. so what should i look at? polo is around $30, tommy is under $20, what about the joop! homme its around $30 as well? just list some top brands.

Your best bet is to go to a department store and try some one. A cologne that may smell good one one guy may smell completely different on another. Try some one and then once you find one you like go online and get it cheaper.

A very inexpensive cologne (20 bucks) I use and women love is "The Golden Secret" by Antonio Bandaras. The general rule is that you should avoid celebrity colognes but this one is the exception to the rule for me.

Another one I use is Armani Code. Love that one! Its twice as expensive but honestly, I get more compliments from The Golden Secret.

Anyways, just do some experimentation and find which one smells the bets on you.

This is great, you can "filter" chicks this way pretty easy. If she moves - very good indicator, if not move on.

Problem with numbers game is that if you at a bar and aproach even only 3-5 chicks most likely all the other girls would see that you were unlucky. This is not in your favor. Of course that should not stop you, but it surely does not help the odds with the next chicks.

I would suggest Lacoste Essential (green). I used to use some very cheap shit, but when I changed to this one chicks actually started to say "you smell good". And no I am not Lacoste advertiser or something, probably all more expensive colognes does the job.

Smell is good, but you will be one of many men that chick smelled who smelled exactly the same. Its wayt oo popular to consider.
