But this article is ridiculous. He has wrote it based on his own anecdotal experiences. You ask 100 people to rank their perception of a 'race totem pole' and you'll get 100 different lists.

It depends on where you are, the values, experiences and preferences of girl. Plus whatever else. You could probably find regional trends based on that. But this article is just some dude's perception.

As for this totem pole, it's clearly subjective to the eyes of one's own opinion.

2. In the Food Totem pole, Vietnamese ranks #3 behind Indian and Chinese. Indian ranks #1 for giving birth to spice. Chinese #2 for giving birth to 1,000,000 different recipes for some backward ass royal family. Vietnamese food has savory, spice, sweet, salt, sour, bitter, pungent, + several flavors that are still unidentified in the English language.

This is pretty much dead-on. All this stuff about racial features is mostly bullshit, might apply to some women, but its more to do with things which are not related to your looks. Asians tend to have strict parents, foreign culture, might be perceived as controlling or domineering, etc, and it is actually this which would put women off, thereby overriding any of their chances, even if they are very attractive. Interestingly, I'm sure I read some study which found that being mixed-race or looking like you have a mix of racial features is the most attractive - perhaps linked to how humans are very attractive to other humans which have a very diverse gene pool, as it can mean their offspring would have very strong immune systems.

For me european women are probably the least attractive out of that list. And why are there 3 seperate categories for white women...lol this list is bullshit.

It's less of an issue in the West compared to what it used to be, but in some circles, it's still a deal breaker. To be ignorant of this, is to be ignorant of reality.

Those who have western heritage come from cultures that have had social mixing of the sexes for 100s of years.

The Eastern cultures and cultures that have not had too much exposure to the west. Do not have a history of mixing of the sexes, so not a lot of social skills between men and women. So even those from those cultures who have overcome these hurdles, there is still a stereotype to overcome. It is not fair but it is understandable.

The people on the top have earned the right to be there. Since their cultural heritage is responsible for Hollywood and technological advances.

Hollywood is extremely powerful. It primarily only portrays black and white people as leads. Anyone of mixed race is inappropriately put into the white or black box, Keanu Reeves and Halle Berry spring to mind. If Latinos and Asians want representation the will need to be more political.

I am not complaining. Since Bollywood and Hong Kong will primarily have a non white cast.
