Well I also have friends who are naturals. And they have pretty different ways of dealing with women and people in general. And despite all the differences they all get great results. I can not agree with you that real naturals use techniques - they are just conveying their personality in some way. Actually most of the "techniques" in the community have been created by observing the behaviors of naturals and finding out what works. What I agree with is the experience factor - most naturals are experienced with women. But it's not the only thing - it is also important to be flexible enough to change your behavior and to be able to make the things that work a part of your character. That's the main difference between a guy who is successful with women and a guy that just knows many girls

You actually conveyed my statement in that phrase.
Naturals do use the same techniques(note: not routines etc.), even if they don't realize it. The part of conveying characteristics: Every natural I have spoken to in my life always say the same phrase: "I don't give a shit." They just go out and do it and convey their characteristics by doing so. That is exactly the same as you should do if you have a good "inner game". In other words confidence, and the ability to move on.

Why oh why do people so strongly desire to make things more difficult then they are?

If you like to go up to girls and use a gimmick, or directly approach, or neg, or indirectly approach, or use a situational opener, or compliment her, or just say "Hi"... it doesnt really matter much to be honest. Thats all just schemantics anyway.

No need to sweat the small stuff... and this is really small stuff. This is like being in a hurricane and worrying about your floor getting wet... seriously it should be the least of your worries... and this stuff should be the least of what you think about.

Why all the fuss?

Point taken shake but I think that congruence is key here. Mystery does a lot of ridiculous shit and it woiuld not work for him if it was not congruent with his inner game. So just do what you want. I think that success with women can come from just rock solid inner game but why not use routines and gimmicks from time to time. Just to do it, change it up. I think that everything that Brad talked about just makes PU more interesting and adds to the experience. Shock and Awe seems pretty gimmicky but that is only because it takes such good IG to pull off. NLP is not a routine, it just helps the process but even for me when I started running the most basic of patterns that I got from RJ's emails, I had to be congruent with all the same.
