I would love to see pics of your house 870, I was thinking 100 feet is massive but then realized it was square feet.

As for my room at the moment it is a damn state, I have spent a day doing laundry and have tiny amounts of space for all the stuff I have got in here. I can't wait to move into my new house in a month or two. It is going to be pure bachelor pad, with wood floors leather sofas and a band room/gym in the basement.

I will post some pics soon

A good tip from me would be to remove all the bullshit in your life that you dont need. Old computers, electronic equiptment, old tvs...general clutter. Im running quite minimal at the moment, i like simplicity. Theres a classic line from the book fight club, im sure uve heard it "The things that you own, end up owning you"

I'm in a dorm room right now and it's tough to do much with it, but I've got some plans for my apartment next year.

I totally agree with JSmooth in that candles are brilliant. I think they do wonders for rooms, both living rooms and bed rooms. Carpets can work sometimes but I'm a big fan of classy posters. I love custom artwork and I've gotten lots of compliments on posters I have framed that are done by locals in my area.

I have a studio appartment thing.. where you have a kitchen, living room and bedroom all in one big room.
I've tried to keep it simple, just make sure it doesn't get too crowded, especially in a studio things will look really messy real quick. One thing every girl loves is the black leather couch. For obvious reasons I guess.

Agreed! I also like their liquor. Plus pretty much all girls like smirnoffs

Awesome! I have one of those. I'm going to get some white pillows for it. I need something there to amp up the playfulness and fun vibe and pillows naturally lead to pillow fights. Don't worry - I'll make sure they're soft and without buttons.

Hey JS,

My apt in Shanghai has pretty much the same "features" as yours except in a red-tint. My buddies used to joke that it looked like some red-light district but nobody ever complained.

I always keep a few martini glasses chilled in the fridge and all my cocktail paraphernalia displayed next to the "bar" for easy access. I go, "help yourself" and they go, "???"

Then I go, "Here, what do you want?"

They go, "I don't know . . ."

Then I go, "How about a Lychee martini" . . . or whatever I have ready . . .
