I don't know if Meetup groups exist in all parts of the US, but around here there's quite a few to choose from...singles meetup groups, nightlife meetup groups, karaoke meetup groups, movie meetup groups, party meetup groups...you name it! Check Meetup dot com to see what's in your area.

There's quite a few good things about these meetup groups:

1) There tends to be lots of singles looking for things to do (and people to do!).

2) They tend to schedule stuff at places that are cool to be and have a good crowd (no reason you can't meet folks outside the meetup group too!)

3) They tend to find the deals, like the bars, restaurants, or lounges that have drink specials or food specials.

i am in a meetup group. we call it supper club. its about 40 singles that go to a different restaurant every wed night then out clubbing or bar-hopping afterwards. most of the people are older than me but it is fun to roll in the club w/a large group and get boothes in vip. i have never hooked up w/any hb's in the group bc i dont shit where i eat. but i do sarge among other hb's at the venues and use the group hb's as props on sets.
