TD is awesome and not only has he changed his own life, but he reached out to me and helped me when no one in my own company would/could.

He did use to be kinda socially awkward and weird,(so did I, so are MOST guys who find this stuff) but he fixed it.

Look everyone clicks with some teachers and doesn't with others. As a teacher, what he teaches works, is useful and important outside pickup. And his early archive is basically the bible of "routine based" game.

I have nothing but good things to say about the guy.

number one rule in the bro code if there ever was one is to never dog your mates
I always thought the number one rule was never to game a buddies girl. I remember that as the motivation for how things went afterward, according to ... oh yeah Style's book. :P

I think everyone who didn't know TD thought he was creepy for a few days after reading "The Game." It's human nature. Then you realize it's just one point of view. If you have read Sin's book (as in Mystery's wing before Neil even showed up, not Sinn one of our featured posters) then you will see a different side to things. After everything I've read and learned most of them seem relatively normal if a bit self absorbed, except maybe Ross. I have to read what he's written because his voice and his mannerisms bother me.

I remember hearing somewhere that Strauss mixed real personalities into single characters and shuffled the chronology of events in order to write a more compelling story--which is something any decent writer would do. If this is the case, it would be reasonable to entertain the possibility that TD's characterization in The Game is an exaggeration and mixture of that of other people.

Every good story needs some type of antagonist.
