My house totally digs transfer students at rush. Nothing like a leader with a good head on his shoulders that doesn't get caught up in drama drama and more drama. Have a good time, you have many more fraternity parties in your future if you so choose.

Look, you gotta understand this simple dynamic.

The brothers look for pledges who bring VALUE to the house. Basically, this means they look for guys who are already popular with freshmen girls.

The freshmen think joining the right house will get them laid. (Receive value)

The girls hang out at houses that are filled with guys who are high value and will spread eagle for guys who are high value.

Since our OP is the freshmen, we only need to think about his role here. If you can, drop the dopey guy and bring a few freshmen girls. This is the easiest thing to do. . ."Hey, I' just got invited to the party at ______ house, you want to go?" It doesn't matter if it's 1 or 5. Make sure you go together and let it be known that YOU brought the house your "sacrificial lambs". Hell, even poach the ones who are ALREADY going to the party and go together. Tell them, "Yeah, I think I'm pledging there . . ."

Boom! Super high value. What do the brothers do? Now they will come to you and go, "Hey, who're your friends?" Pawn them like you have plenty more where that came from . . . They'll introduce you to women they have already tapped. Now you receive. Girls see everything. When they see this instant rapport that a rushee is having with the upperclassmen, they'll be much more approachable.

It all starts with offering value to the house. The sacrificial lamb is the best. But if you have game, there's got to be an aspect of the game that you can high light to add value to this group. Add value and you'll get your returns.

ok so i got back from the party. i hung out with the dude i know from the frat and his friends. it was a LOT bigger than i thought. they had a packed dance floor in the basement. i met a few people and had a good time. it was $10 to get in, then all the beers u could drink. it was fun. i think i will do it again. i didnt get much chance to run game because of the situation/noise level. i did dance with a few chicks and had fun. there were like 100+ people there. it was pretty much a general public party.

You danced with a few "chicks"? That is all? I sure hope you drank a hell of a lot of beer. If not that is $10 that could have been used towards a new XBOX game.

Dance with a few chicks  Hell, I was dancing with the ladies when I was 4 years old. It was a wedding reception. Probably got further than you did.

This is a results oriented board. You gotta step up your game

Next time run some game! I don't care if it is the crappiest game known to man. Just get out there and run it. Rent yourself a bullhorn if you need one. Drape Christmas lights on yourself. Just get noticed and get yourself some.

refer to forum rule #2

This is a value-giving oriented board. You gotta step down from your pedestal and make sure the criticism you give is actually constructive without being condescending. IMO there are exceptions, but this was not one of them.

Be sure to wear a messed up pair of shoes cause the floor will be soaked in beer, my friends learned the hard way.

if it was me, i would just go to have fun and meet people. The more people you know, the more parties you get invited too, especially if you like to have fun.

i did run game expat, you ass. i didnt feel like typing out everything i did before i went to bed last night.

anyway.....

it was worth $10, because every time i go out i spend at least $15 and dont get to drink near as much.

i met up with my buddy who was in his own room with 2 of his friends and 4 chicks. all of them were too thick for me so i didnt run much game on them. we chilled there for a bit, then we went to the party. the party consisted of a large basement with a DJ and packed with people. there was no way to really run game in there. it was just too loud and crowded. i had fun though. i opened 2 sets in the hallways of the place but didnt get very far...im not suprised because everyone was drunk and going in all directions.

i did meet some people and had fun. the floor was covered in beer  now i know what to expect if i go again. you dont have to run much game on the dance floor, all the girls were either drunk or fine with just about ANY guy comming up and dancing with them. usually its not like that at a bar. next time im gonna enter the dance floor before its so packed and humid. should be more successful
