I've been talking about creating somewhat of a new community and this is one of the things that is gonna change there actually. I'm banning stupid terminology that dehumanizes people. No PUAs, no AFCs, just people and rPUAs (Recovering Pickup Artists) as Johnny Soporno likes to call them. Groups of people are groups of people, not sets. Girls are girls/women/ladies or whatever you want, not HBs and ESPECIALLY not numbers.

Jay, I'd love to see what you're working on if you're interested in sharing it. I've liked a lot of stuff you've posted actually.

"Kino" sounds a lot less creepy than "touching."

I would love to blow my own trumpet SPAM but give me 6 months to test and perfect this, if it is as good as I thin it can be I will let you know. sorry for the mysterious ways but I don't want anyone getting even a hint of what it is.

Great post Jonathan. I suprised i havn't seen a full blown rant about this before and i totally agree with most of what you wrote.
Its been a while now since i stopped using all these terms. But some times it seems unavoidable or just easier to say (e.g) daygame.
We cant stop the newbies from using these terms, but i think its about time people finally cut the shit and not let themselves be takenover by this and brainwashed.
But call it what you may, either way it makes sense (most the time).

Not only do I totally agree but you'll notice that just about all my posts under this name and my former name use very little terminology. The one I hate the most is sarge. Sarge is short of sargeant. For some reason it just sounds so stupid as a verb. "Meet some girls" is plenty short for me.

Also I never have and never will introduce myself to anyone in the real world as Backer or my other name. I'm ok with sticking to it on the board but in the field you'll know me as what my momma named me.

I appreciate your opinions guys and yes I agree that I don't really like the terms AFC, PUA, rAFC, Sarge, etc. This stuff just really gets stupid.

I always thought we used acronyms and code words so that newbies would be able to remember the techniques better and it would be easier to teach and share.
