Race is only as relevant as your hair colour, your height, your build, the size of your nose, the way you dress, the type of music you listen to, the car you drive or anything else. It is just one aspect. One girl might simply not date black guys. Another girl might simply not date Asian guys. Another girl might not date white American guys. But that's no different to a girl who will only date guys with black hair, not blonde. Or a girl who will only date a guy who is into heavy metal music and the rocker scene. It's entirely dependent on the individual girl. Race has nothing to do with your general results. It may have something to do with how you get on with one particular girl, but like I said, you could apply that to pretty much any aspect of your life. Sometimes you'll be able to get around it with other aspects, sometimes you won't.

As for the original question; is pick up aimed at attracting a particular type of woman? I think generally it depends on how you utilise what you learn from pick up. If you want to just get with girls and that is your one and only aim, then learning a new technique may see you suited to only a certain type of girl. I do think some techniques are more suited for certain types of girl. As Vic then says, the more techniques you can pull off perhaps the more chance you've got of being able to adapt to that girl.

However, I think if you take a more general non-specific-routine approach to game, then it has far wider benefits. If you use game to just sort of "top off" your own personality, to improve your confidence and, I suppose, get yourself as close to a 'natural' type of style as you can (even if that means incorporating elements of other techniques that work well within your general personality), then I think game is then adapted to whatever sort of girl would be attracted to your own personality.

If you're using specific techniques, then that technique may only be useful for a particular type of girl and you have to find the type of girl that goes with that specific technique. If, however, you go for a more natural style, incorporate a few ideas from different techniques but generally go natural but improved, then you end up attracting girls that are good for you personally, rather than girls that are good for that technique.
