It's always good to know that someone genuinely cares for you.

If you don't have that then get a dog.

Just get a dog!

Fuck No. Family is not overrated. Family is the most important thing in the world to me. I would give everything for my family. If my brother needed a kidney, I would give it to him in a heartbeat. I also agree with jack. I have a few very close friends that are basically brothers to me. I would take a bullet for them. You dont have to be blood to be family.
ive just been screwed over in the past

Bedrock, I think you're right about a lot of people wanting to become PUAs because of family stuff. It's just like the guys that are here because a girl broke their heart, they didn't feel loved like they desired, so they want to have the ability to make people love them like they feel they should be loved.

I'm not saying that is a bad thing, merely saying it in more clinical terms.

Personally, I don't think that my family life had any direct influence on me becoming a PUA, but maybe indirectly, because they made me the man I am today and that's affected how I've lived my life and what brought me to this point. If my parents had given me the skills to interact with people and especially women, then I might not be here. I always end up thinking of what Style said in The Game about his family and friends having failed him in teaching him how to interact with people.

To L.A. Tripp:
What I meant was that a good number of people turn to PUA because of family issues or family not teaching them the essentials of life. I didnt mean that everyone did. That was what i observed from this post.

To Rye Lee:
Exactly. That is exactly my point in better terms... and shorter terms. Thats exactly what happened to me. The only aspect in life that my family failed me in was girls. Other than, my family made me the man I am today too.
