Learning Groove is not that difficult, that's where a lot of n00bs get it wrong they think they need to learn extravagant moves to use in a club, when in reality this can be counterproductive especially if your game isn't tight. So they go to dance classes and learn "moves" but they don't learn how to "dance". Huge difference.

Groove is the foundation of dancing. If you're not grooving you're not dancing, pretty simple (with the exception of ballet). Some people can groove naturally, others have to learn with practice. But it's very subtle and not that difficult (you shouldn't have to think about what move comes next, that is choreography). You wanna be good at Freestyle (dancing without thinking, improvising).

Aerobics/Capoeira wouldn't help very much (even though Capoeira is one of the most badass styles). Zumba actually would be good because it focuses a lot on the hips and basic Latin/Groove-style moves (plus the classes are full of women). Hiphop also is good - as long as it's Hiphop Groove (real hiphop) and not commercial musicvideo-style Hiphop, which is trash and gets passed off as the real deal.

Look forward to your videos.

if it works, its simply because you look like a fun guy, and thats what women like.

Also helps to be italian or spanish on the dance floor. Not just for dancing but thats the clientele at dance clubs for the most part.

I once went to a Dominican Dance club with a spanish woman, and I was the only white guy there. I felt like a bigger douche than some of the guys on this forum.

Some folks were nice, but you could tell i wasnt mixing in that night.

An Indian guy at a guido dance club is not going to do well either.

I consider myself to be a decent dancer who can dance with confidence. Being a pretty funny guy i have a load of silly dance moves. Reading this post made me realize just now that everytime i used those silly dance moves it got laughs but no attraction. But when i danced really sexualy it got me somewhere.

IMO Having fun on the dance floor doesn't mean acting silly, it's being confident and not afraid of looking silly.

I dance polka which is a polish swing-type dance. It's really fun and somewhat oldschool. I really can't dance that good but i try to lead as best i can and laugh it off when i mess up. I basically manhandle the women on the dance floor. for example i don't know how to do a dip so i trip women into it. they like it. I even dropped one on the floor one time. We both laughed and kept dancing. Don't act like an idiot, do your best at dancing seriously but have fun with it.

PS. skills dude teach me.

This seems pretty tight, as long as you don't engage sets on the dancefloor by being their 'dancing monkey' this probably will work really well :)

Like what was said before, keep a mental note of who was checking you out.

how about the eye contact, should you look around your target when you are doing silly dance?
as you mention 'taking mental note', so I'd assume you are scanning?
