Well, thats an oversimplification. Most girls will test boundries but so will most guys. However, there comes a time when both are content with their roles and settle for what they can get. It doesnt need to be a fight. When you are in a relationship, you dont need to constantly fight for dominance, you are a team. If one rises, so does the other, if one falls, well, same thing.

^ ezo yes that is my point girls will test boundaries, and if you fail specially early on in the relationship you are pretty much fucked, in the sample given, there was no polarity, it was a role reversal, if you look at the story(even if a fake story, the shit describe is similar to real life, for example my gf father is going through something similar, he is miserable), she keep pushing and pushing, waiting for a man too come out, but it never happened...Some dudes can not take the storms women throw at them, they try to avoid it, big mistake...But yes relationships, should be a give and take and a partnership, put the other person first etc...That is why i advise not to settle with the first thing that comes along, that is why pu is so important we get to pick the best of the best from multiple women, instead of settling like the poor guy in the story did...

How can anyone read that and believe that to be a true-to-life story? Clearly somebody with a hate on for women, who sees them only as conniving miserable subhumans, would write a story in which the woman was such an evil villain.

definitely is NOT a healthy relationship, and i hope (and doubt) any of us would be in that position described by the OP. ever. fighting is what we do everyday, and at home we should be able to put our guard down and relax. i good partner will provide for that.

For God's sake, the narrative voice changes at the end! It goes from being a woman, "confessing" everything she did wrong in the relationship (whilst valorizing to no end the man she was abusing) to the man who was victimized. Does that not tip you all off to the fact that it's not actually a woman admitting to all this? Perhaps this is a man writing as the woman who he thinks wronged him, perhaps she truly was an awful person who abused everyone around her. But this story is pure wish fulfillment, some guy trying to make himself out to be the ethical hero and the woman nothing but cruel. There are two sides to every story, and I kind of doubt that this guy was as perfect as he makes himself out to be.
