I've only had one problem with wearing black leather jackets. I got a few Brandini jackets and I sometimes get asked for drugs because of it.

I would say don't even waste time with the mall. Look at A2 flightjackets in seal brown horsehide. $300-$400 if you're in the US and it will make girls stop dead in their tracks.
