A woman you can ask any question you want too, and she really tries to answer.

Zip you're almost as good as a wife.

What is your perception of male and female relationships? I personally don't believe in the g/f or marriage thing.

Oh yeah, how can we get more AFC's to post in this thread? lol.
I'll put a shameless promotional banner on my signature. We'll put a supermodel on it, some beer, and it shall say "porn thread." AFC's will come running.
LOL . . . we have to try that!

Oh shit, here we go:

I believe that the words we use to define and even codify relationships between men and women are used too broadly and are extremely specific. We don't use them or utilize them correctly, 90% of the time. There is a disconnect between what "girlfriend" is supposed to mean and what "girlfriend" means to each individual. It's all relative. It's like spirituality: everyone has their own blend, or made the choice to not blend at all.

Marriage? I don't say that I believe in marriage as a social and religious joint institution where the man and woman are exclusive for the rest of their lives. But that's just what works for me...right now. That doesn't mean I don't believe it happens like that for other people...or that someone else's own definition of "marriage" is completely different.

I haven't had a guy I really label "boyfriend" since my junior year of high school because if I can't live up to the definition...I won't define it.

... and then I found five dollars.

That's an interesting point of view, and I often ask this question to people. Sometimes I think people look at being on their own as something bad but I see it as opportunity. Independence is something that should be promoted and the only bad thing with it is some don't understand it.

I also found five dollars today in my coat pocket from last night and bought an amazing pizza from the grocery store.

p.s. I made a girl eat spicy meatballs.

Damn. That's where I left that. Next time, I won't care if b/f # 2 walks in and catches us.

He's too whiny anyway.

So Zip is an asshole and deleted my post. She asked me to re-write it here. Normally, I don't like to repeat myself, but I think this is important, so here goes. A paraphrase.

Regarding Elevators.

What was previously posted was utter bullshit. People in elevators are bored. The reason I keep to myself when I'm sitting in a crowded public place isn't because I'm afraid someone is going to enter into my Intimate Space, it's because I'm afraid of doing that to someone else. I'm bored silly. I want someone entertaining and wonderful to start a conversation with me, just so I can stop staring at my shoes.

I assume that, because I feel this way in a crowded public space, so do other people. Thus far I've been proven right, because people in elevators and buses and trains and in line for Burger King all open up very readily. They want someone to open them, if just to break the tedium.

Never assume that someone in X situation doesn't want to be opened. It's dangerous and it limits your options. People want to be opened all the time. They will never be weirded out if you're interesting.

The self-limiting beliefs that get paraded around here as truth... Jebus...

Thug, we are not "thugs" toward women or fellow members or mods on this forum. We appreciate you being a part of this, but respect must be shown. Claire is no longer a part of this forum, and Zip, well, she's above the thug mentality.

And, Zip is attached . . . multiple times, lol.
